Heirloom's A Little Bit Of Everything - 2016 Journal

I'm gonna quietly slip in here and leave a kiss on the forehead, ok? :kisstwo:

Just dropping by to see how you're doing today loom. Hope you're feeling better sir!:Namaste:

Hello and thank you everyone.

I've never been strong in the patience department. That will probably be the biggest personality impact on me. This is going to force me to have the patience of a Saint in the end.

Wanting to hurry up and get around the property I was a bit over zealous and had a fall. I'll be ok, but it's a bit of a set back on the back.

So I'm just stepping away a little from the temptation of getting out there among the plants. I have to check myself and focus more on the recovery, not on what I wish I was doing.

I'll be checking in frequently, but won't be strolling through any gardens or investigating the mysteries of soil science for a while.

Love you all. Thank you so much for all the care and support.

You do for you brother.. It'll come mate but yeah, patience.. Thinking of you man..

Ouch! That had to be scary and exasperating. I'm glad you're reasonably ok. Don't do that again. :kisstwo:

Good Morning Heir!! I hope you are feeling better today!! I think you need to design yourself a quad so you can tour the gardens without too much strain. I used to love riding with my kids. Haven't done that in a few years.

I hope the weather there is as nice as it is here today!!! Feel well my friend and know that our thoughts and prayers are still with you!!! :circle-of-love::peace:

Hi SG and Dennise!

I was going to buy a farm UTV, like a JD Gator or something, this year. It was on my acquisition list long before the accident. When the time is right I will go shopping.

Yeah, it's not easy. I have not been on too much. Been meaning to flop on the couch and say hi, but got caught up in a soil thread and got all typed out.

I'm still here. Thank you for the concern! :circle-of-love:

Hey heirloom I have been incapacitated by some flu like thing but have been meaning to keep ya in the loop on the sex reversal. I need to get some pics. She's got male pollen sacs that look like buds there are so many by the first ones that have opened aren't giving much if any pollen. I am wondering is a weekly spray may be better than a two week interval. Last week I sprayed her twice to see if I can get the still maturing male flowers to produce more pollen so there is something decent to collect. When I can get some pics I will let you know buddy.

Stay strong. I think about you and send positive vibes almost every day. Your attitude is teaching me a lot about being a strong person. I am doing my best to follow and learn by your example.

Hiya Shigg,

If you can learn from observing me, then that's great. I learned to be this way the hard way. Several hard ways in fact.

Weekly for 3-4 might be what some need. HSO Blue Dream seems to be one that fights reversal with everything in her. Just in the last 4 days one of mine started releasing pollen...I think/hope. And I'm not exactly sure, but it's got to be close to 40 days since flip. Crazy long. It got sprayed a 3rd time. I looked over the reversed plant a few days ago and saw bananas. But when collecting them, there's minimal pollen if any. We stuck collected bananas in a glass vial and set it near an AC vent to dehumidify for a day. Then took the butt end of a little paint brush and gently roughed up the bananas in the vial. That seemed to release a little more. Because there was very little pollen to be seen or used as paint, we opted for the 'shotgun' method. Set up a fan blowing on the target, and dump the collected material into the backside of the fan. The host girl had sudden pistil browning 24hrs after a deliberate shotgun pollination session, or as we like to call it...sex in the garden. Did it again from a different angle the next day, and then a third. Reversed plant seems to be ramping up the pollen production finally. We'll see in 14 days or so if pods are swelling. But all signs point to pregnant so far.

Patience, lol. If they are the first pods to open I would bet yours will really start releasing in the next 7 days or so. It's hard looking at those first nanners and wanting to pollinate NOW! I was in that boat 4 days ago. Give it a few more days and collect the opened pods. Keep them dry. Then knock them around a little. Bet you seen a white or yellowish haze appear in the glass.

Congratz
