What do you look for,trichome-wise, when you harvest your cbd plants?
I harvested mine at "all cloudy", just wondering if I did it at the right time?
And yes, asking this question before I harvested would have been a good idea

Its one of those personal preference things, of course, but Amy nailed it and you nailed it!! I’m starting to think that’s what I like for all my trichomes, CBD and THC. Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs Ambers.

Hey HH. How are you m'dear? That indeed was a tomato seedling. I have so many of them popping up in all of my outdoor pots. The seeds are really tough and survive the composting process and will sprout as soon as the conditions are right. I have them sprouting in my compost bin almost constantly even in the dark. They normally get around a couple of inches tall before dying for lack of light.

Mystery solved. He’s my little stow away and I’ve named him Tom. I’m hoping I can transplant it out of there and into a cup. I have a spot for it in the garden. Bonus beefsteaks!!

You shouldn't have a problem. I just untangled a bunch of them that were in solo cups. They are hardy like cannabis.

Looks like she's clouding up nicely. Won't be too much longer.

Hello, hello grow buds. Little veggers update for today. They’re all really growing upwards and filling in well. Almost too well! I’m ready to move these girls over to the 4x4, but alas there’s no room.

I was hoping to keep the clones on the shorter side this time, but it doesn’t seem they want to cooperate, they just grow and grow.

All right, let’s take it back to the last harvest for just a minute. Most of the buds are to a good smoking point now. It’s been really weird, the 3 that had a slower dry time (Northern Lights, Hiydrow and Critical Mass) have all been so harsh! I hadn’t really smoked them all that much because they just thrashed my throat after a couple sessions. Well they’re finally mellowing out to at least manageable levels and Hiydrow has been a really nice little surprise! Northern Lights and Critical Mass have been good evening smokes, but I was really lacking something for daytime that didn’t tank my energy. Mango Kush has been good and was my daytime smoke of choice for a while, since harvest basically, but it’s not great for motivation. Also, stores on that one are depleted for sure. It’s early on still, but I’m happy to say that Hiydrow will be a nice addition to the daytime rotation. Good high energy, I feel like I can get stuff done, but with the calming CBD, so my anxiety doesn’t flare up. I’m really looking forward to harvesting more so I can make a big ol batch of oil!

Hi all! A little tiny hiccup, my power went out for just a few hours (I think) last night. It was during lights out, but I was stressing a little over not having any airflow!! Lol I was super happy when the lights came back on relatively fast. I realized my timers would need to be corrected and I’m glad I checked them. One of my extraction cloudlines turned back on, but didn’t keep it’s setting, so it was ballooning up the tent. Lol, it all seems pretty innocuous in retrospect, but I couldn’t help but be paranoid about something messing up these buds right before harvest!! At the end of the day, it seems everything is fine, and no matter how rough I thought my night might’ve been, it was a lot better than Earl Thomas’. Oop!

Hey there grow buddies! I do believe Nightingale 1 gal is just about ready!!

This is a cool shot that shows some of the purple trichomes stems that @Amy Gardner pointed out last time, on the mom plant.

I’m paying a lot more attention to the shape of the trichome heads, as well as the cloudiness, to use as my guidelines for harvesting now. That combined with the amount she’s drinking and the amount of new pistils coming out (or not). After taking all that into consideration, I‘m thinking I’ll harvest this girl tomorrow or the next day, so that Mr H can help if he wants. He’s been really struggling with anxiety lately. It’s so hard to not be able to help more, but I think everyone can relate to that a little right about now. It’s a very learning experience to have the shoe be on the other foot for both of us!
Anyhow, that’s all that’s happening here. Candida 1 gal should be getting fairly close too. I’ll take some pictures of her trichomes later today or tomorrow. I’m so ready to get things moving around! The veggers are getting taller and it’s making me just a little nervous because they’ll still probably be in there for another week or two!

Yay - absolutely identical to that on the parent strain Candida (‘sativa’ pheno) I grew outside. Yum! Happy for some more CBD coming both your ways!
