Heavenly Hybrid’s Hideout: Jump In Anytime

Hey grow buddies! Just a couple random photos to share this morning.

First, the blooming 2gal Candida, laying down on the job.
So sloppy Candy!

Much better!

Candida 1 gal coming along. Hopefully she’ll be done in a week or so. I feel a touch of harvest fever creeping in.

Lastly, a few weeks ago I was giving the 2 gallon girls their clean up defol. Similar to Professor Flora, I decided to keep some cuttings of Hiydrow in a cup of water. I wasn’t sure the clone I had was going to make it, so I kept some cuttings, just in case. They’ve been in my bathroom window sill with just plain water, after a couple weeks, I changed the water and added a smidge of MC.

Look at that! They’ve got some Professor love bumps!!

I’m not sure what I’ll do with them yet, especially since the original clone has recovered and is going strong. It was a fun and easy experiment at the very least!

Anyhow, that’s about it for the HH garden. :ciao:

Cutting corners at its finest. Hell's yeah HH!

I had the same issue as you in not knowing what to do with them after they rooted so I'm just going to leave them and see what happens. I gave them a water change and added a little crop also. Maybe it will work like a kind of passive hydro? Maybe they will get root rot? we will find out soon enough. Nice one HH :thumb:

Well friends, I wasn’t planning on doing any more work in the garden today, but someone was being a bit of a buttface and I needed reprieve. Honestly, the work needed to be done anyway, and the break was nice. So here’s what I did!

I gave all three quad ladies one more round of tie downs and some minor leaf plucking, to open them up.
Here’s Critical Purple Kush before

And after - hello nodes!!

More specifically, I‘ve added another 4 lawn staples. Where the quad already had the x shape with the arms tied down, I’ve now added a + of tie downs, so now she’s spread out like a bit like a snowflake. Here’s a more specific view.

This is a look at one side of the upper arms (the center of the plant is marked with orange +, just to the left of the MAIN label.) Yellow arrows mark the newly added staples and ties. From here on, I will just let the newly exposed nodes grow upwards and keep them all nice and flat. Then it’ll be the big move over to the blooming tent!

I also moved the clones into some 1 liter plastic pots.

I’ll uppot them one more time, probably into 3 gallon fabric pots before their transition to blooming.

Well, I know I already said it once before, but - that’s about it for the HH garden! :ciao:

Perfect work on the quad training, HH !
I feel a touch of harvest fever creeping in.
Best kind to have- totally curable...no vaccine for it though.
So you'll get it again in 8 to 10 weeks ;)

Feeling good about your multi-method cloning game I hope. :high-five:
Thanks Shed! It’s definitely more fun to experiment when they stay alive! Lol. I’ve seen others have success with this method before, so why not? Plus I really thought that original clone was a goner. It is pretty cool to see once again, how resilient this plant truly is!! :nerd-with-glasses:

I was just noting what a little weirdo she is. The nodes went from symmetrical to alternating really quickly. She also has some randomly placed node sites along the arms. It would be pretty funny if she decided to pop out an extra sprout!

Jeez Hh you your so talented at growing that that seedlings come up without even planting a seed...If you giving away cuts of your magical seedling plant I'll happily take one:cheesygrinsmiley:
