Our babies look around the same age. How old are yours again?

They look great. Glad you are gonna try the Forum and GG4. Are the GG4 regs? I can't remember what I sent you.
Do I even have fems? :hmmmm:I'll have to go and look. I just inventoried my seed stash so it shouldn't be hard.
I'm on minimal sleep and distracted this morning. I woke up with sexy lumberjacks in my yard cutting down some dead trees.

Back to coffee and watching the hotties work......

They’re pretty dang close! You, GDB and P9 all got me itchin to drop beans too. Plus we cancelled Hawaii (which turned out to be a good call!), so I ran outta reasons not to. I was gone when they popped up, so I call it Aug. 1st as a close enough guess, plus it’s easy for my stoner ass to remeber.

Hey there grow buddies, I’m back after a week of summer camp activities with the kids. I finally was able to give the ladies some attention yesterday. It was most certainly time, especially for DTF, who’s starting to show some deficiency. They’re all properly taken care of now, new shoes and the quad treatment, here we go!

Here’s how it started

One by one, they got new shoes. I nearly forgot the proper way to quad photoperiod girls! Rus-ty. I removed nodes 1 and 2, and topped above node 4, leaving a nice foundation for these quads to build.

I was a little rough on GG’s stem, so I gave her a little extra support for now. She’s got some wrinkly leaves goin, so I’m not sure if that means anything. I don’t think I’ve over or underwatered, but maybe?

You can see some lighter tinges between the veins. A little bit droopy buns, hopefully uppotting will turn her around. Her first node leaves were starting to yellow as well. She needed some fresh dirt stat! They’re still in Sohum. I just can’t seem to give all the way up on it yet. Stubborn, I guess. 🤷‍♀️

Happy and strong. They all had nice white roots at the bottom of the cup. No crowding, so I feel like the timing was just right.

It’s her chance to level the growing field and catch up to the others. Now that I cut off all their heads.

I’ll be sure to get a picture of outside Candida the next time I go out. She’s definitely made some progress since last time.

That’s about it for today’s update. Hope you’re all enjoying these last days of summer. It’s too damned hot for me. Autumn is my favorite season, so I’m totally ready to bring it on. 💗

Nice start to your new grow cycle! The DTF was looking a little hungry but not too bad in my opinion. :cool:

Thanks Beez, and agreed! I’m glad I finally got them moved up. It was nagging in my mind all week. The light schedule was either do it as soon as we got home (wiped out) or late at night (also wiped out). Lol, the weekend it is!

Looks like the wrong kind of "wrinkly" to be over or under watered- looks more like just one of those things they do, for reasons known only to them... 🤔

You actually didn't do anything wrong with her.
GG4 is known to have wrinkly leaves occasionally, especially the Grandpa's cut phenotype. So don't worry ,it's a genetic trait.
They all look great imo.

Hey all! Mini update today. I had a plan to start my Wookiee beans as soon as I moved these four over to the 4x4. It gets crowded in the 2x4 with the large pots for the autos in there. BUT.. I’m basically a dummy because the 4x4 is completely empty! I could move them over there now if I had to. Stupe. So… with a gentle nudge from smarty pants @Carcass, this happened

The Wizard was showing a tail starting to emerge, but Wookiee was looking like she did nothing in her soak. We’ll see after a few days. If there’s still no action, I’ve got some more I can soak.

Let there be autos! Hope to not embarrass myself too badly growing this Wookiee alongside so many talented growers on here. But I hear it’s stellar to smoke, so I anticipate embarrassing myself should be worth it but the end. ;) Thank you again Justin!!
 
Yeah HH, some of the recent Wookiees grows are tough acts to follow!

However, I'm confident that you can join the ranks near the top! :)

I love it, and always glad to see more autos! You’re gonna love the taste of them both. Wizard is gonna be like spicy cotton candy with a little more Sativa feel (mellowest Sativa ever) and both maxed out the home test kit which might not mean all that much but at least you know the THC will be up there somewhere in the red 😉. Enjoy those ladies and I will be here watching for sure.

The Wizard seeds pop right away but the Wookiee take a few extra days from what I've experienced. You may want to give just a little extra time for her to make her appearance.

I think I soaked mine for three or four days before she actually cracked and was still slow to break ground. After that she grew fine.

Could be up to ten days from first soaking to sprout before she shows.... fashionably late.
Ymmv.
A lot depends on phenotype.

I only soak mine for a day but definitely have had a Wookiees pop up at 8-10 days after wrongly deciding that they were no-shows 😂 I get about 9/10 sprouting so far from them.
