Heavenly Hybrid’s Hideout: Jump In Anytime

Good luck on your OK harvest. I'm sure it'll look much better in jars. :D Your Candida looks happy outside. :welldone:
Gorilla glue #4 (VG/Chris)
Peyote forum (seedsman)
DTF (stank style!)
Limonade skunk (victory seeds)
Looks like an excellent line-up, and an excellent start by all.
I’m a little curious about purple kush, she seems like she’s drinking slower than the OK is!
Those purple buds are always a bit tricky to judge by looking at the trichomes. Hard to see clear vs cloudy, just purple everywhere! :laughtwo:

🤘🤘🤘 love seeing the new babies. 😍
🥳 🥳 I was pretty excited to see them all popping their little heads up.
Happy Mother's Day HH! :Rasta:
😂 I was confused for a second - it’s early, I guess the ol brain is still sleeping. Thanks GDB, I love a good bonus Mother’s Day! Maybe I can get Mr. H to rub my feet?

Thanks Beez, today’s the day. I’ve put it off for long enough, I say!

It is! Plus my camera isn’t very cooperative lately. I may just go by whether she’s drinking or not over the next few days.

Congrats on the quadruplets, HH!..🌱🌱🌱🌱

and hoped for the best.
I'll have to try that... 🌝 ..

I've actually been killing fewer seeds lately..not sure why, but I'll take it!

Hello hello! It’s been a bit and some stuff has happened, so here we go!

I wound up harvesting both purple kush and oriental kush at the same time. I had watered purple kush before we went out of town and she was still heavy with water after we got back. I waited a few more days and she was still heavy as ever, so it was her time. I was having a tough bout of procrastination with OK, but I saw a nanner pod trying to sneak out and it gave me the push I needed to take care of biz. They both got a bud wash, had trim and in the tent to dry. No joke, they were dried in 3 days. OK is slightly over dried and PK is slightly under, but they’re both bagged and tagged - and weighed.

Unfortunately you’ll just have to believe me, because there were no pics, not even one! But I promise that it did in fact happen, lol.

Purple kush (1:1) has come in at 39g(+), with wispy, airy, dark af buds.

There were four decent nugs from the base of the stem. I ended up snipping them off because they were so clumped together I worked they would dry properly. I put them in a paper bag in the fridge, just for fun.

Oriental kush has come in at 78g with dense, hairy, dank af buds

This is the one Mr. H and I have been smokin on for a few days now. She’s got that intoxicating scent that if you catch a wiff, makes you think “ohh, that smells goood”. Like that old bugs bunny cartoon.

A nice, chill, high that I’ve come to love from a good kush. I haven’t smoked much of the PK yet. I grew that more for Mr. H, so I’ll come back later if he gives me any review notes.

And now, on to the current grow!
IMG_4101.jpeg

Limonade skunk is a tiny bit behind the rest. She didn’t grow much for a couple days after I removed her shell/membrane. She’s recovered now, but def smaller than the rest.

DTF is a little tall for her britches, so she gets a small assist until I can get her burried deeper to re-stabilize. I need a @StoneOtter car-hug for her!

Peyote forum and GG4 are neck and neck, racing for biggest sister.

Looks like forum has an ever-so-slightest lead.

I also upcanned my Candida mom. She’s in bad shape right now. I had some clones that rooted, so I stopped taking very good care of the mom. Then the clones went to shit! So I took a few more cuttings, but I think I’ll need a healthier mom to get some decent clones.

And lastly is the outdoor Candida.
IMG_4107.jpeg

She’s getting pretty bulked up with leaves. I wonder if I threw her off a bit by moving her to a different area of the yard. But either way, she’s doing alright so far.

Taking pictures outside is a bit harder than I thought! I want to get some early morning pictures, before the sun hits. I think it’ll make for some clearer shots.

Anyhow, that’s it for now. I hope you’re all doing well. Thanks for stopping by!!

Congrats on the dual Kush harvest! Both nugs look great but that purple-black really is something special. I guess we believe that the harvest happened. :thumb:

The babies are looking healthy and I was sure that PVC was there so you could start early LST. Now I realize it was just to get a ❤️ from P9...

I just took Candida cuttings yesterday too as I prepare to ax the mother, and your flowering plant is really basking in the sun.

All's well here.
:green_heart:

Congrats on 2 nice harvests, and the 4 happy, healthy little seedlings..

I know, right?
You wouldn't think so, but bright sun seems to hide most of the detail- Shed, @BeezLuiz, and a few others manage to get great full sun pics, but I don't have it figured out yet.
Of course, I can just move my plant into the shade if need be, but yours is kinda "stuck" where it is...🌳

Lmao, thanks Shed! Purple buds are def cool to see. While I was doing it I knew I should be taking some pics, but my phone was all the way in the other room. So faaar!

I don’t blame you, I have done some early lst like that before! Seems like she’s lst-ing herself, maybe I should go with it??? 🤔

Those hearts are not easily won! A girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do. 😄

Thank you Carcass

They do make it look so easy, don’t they! I grabbed a few shady pics today, I think that’ll be the best I can do, lol!

Does she look weird or is it just an outdoor budding thing? I feel like she looks different compared to my indoor girls. I should look back at Shed or Stone’s outdoor candidas. 🧐

Thank you, it does! That looks similar enough to me.

I just went back to my last indoor Candida and the concentration of leaves is very different, much more dense on the sunny candidas. Must be the power of the sun! Cool to notice the differences already.

Nodes look more spaced apart.

We’ll see how it goes , I suppose!

In the last pic, she's got lots of trichomes, but very few pistils...that seems unusual...
not bad.... just unusual... 🤔
Mine usually show pom-poms before the trichomes start to show up...

It is entirely possible that I messed with her veg/bloom cycle when I scooted her over. I took pics back on Aug 4, but I don’t think I posted.

She’s definitely gotten some early frost. This is the day I moved her.

Wow- she did start early with the trichomes....
I've never had one do that- maybe it's a Candida thing..:hmmmm:

I just remembered something!!! I actually left this Candida in the dark for like 10-14 days before I stuck her outside! Lmao, I can’t believe how she started out. Seems there’s a few reasons for this potentially abnormal display. 😆

Can I hear a bit more about this HH? 🧐
Indeed! The truth is, she was set for the yard waste bin. I had a new clone of Candida take root, so this mom had done her duties and lost her space in the tent. There she sat for days and days in the dark grow room. At the last minute, I got a wind up my skirt and put her in a 5 gal pot outside. The intention is, an outdoor learning experiment - with the hope of some extra Candida to make oils with. I make CBD oil for my MIL’s dog and I’m running low on my Candida stores. It would be nice to not have to sacrifice any tent space for it this round.

So it's a reveg, right? That's why it looks so different?

I'm sorry if I'm asking about something obvious but I'm curious.

Congratulations on your Kush harvests! :bravo:

They look so much nicer now, without leaves. ;)

It definitely is a bit tricky getting a good pic outside. I usually try to get my pics in the mornings before the fog burns off or in the early evenings when everything is in the shadows. I take a lot of pictures and only post the one or two good ones.
I grabbed a few shady pics today,
There you go, nice pics! :thumb:

She'll straighten herself out by harvest.

One of the nice things about outdoor growing is you get a pretty good yield (at least if started outdoors from the beginning). I grew my CBD plant (not Candida) back in 2020 and got one pound of buds from it. I've still got about 4 or 5 ounces left, which should see me through until my next plant gets harvested next season.

Not at all GDB, that is the question of the day! I was wondering if she looked different because of revegging (which seems very likely), or if it was simply from being outside under the power of the sun (also true?) Shed posted a picture of his own outdoor Candida and it does have the same tight leaf structure I was noticing, so I really don’t know the answer. I had forgotten all about her being in the dark before I brought her outside, so I’m basically a bingbong. 🤪

Congratulations on your Kush harvests! :bravo:
Thanks Beez!

Whoo, I’m countin on it! 😄 If I can manage to get some product, any product, at the end, it’ll be mission accomplished.

That’s the truth! Although mine will stay small this year, I brought her out just after the solstice. I’m actually still kinda paranoid about neighbors and the smell, even though we’re completely legal (I know, I smh at myself often). I live in a fairly old school town and I’m a total chicken. We’ll see how this one fares, maybe I’ll be even more brave next summer? 🤞
