Hello again my grow buds! It’s been a super long time, so I want to show how the girls are coming along.
They started running out of nutrients before the end of July. I tried a few different things, I added the Reese’s looking manure puck, I made a tea with worm castings, a tea with natures living soil. I top dressed with both of those too. Nothing seemed to be slowing the yellowing down. I wound up using my general organics mixed nutes, and that has been able to dramatically slow the yellowing of the leaves. I know I waited too long to start amending the Sohum. Next time should be a lot better. So much for having pretty plants at harvest, but the GO nutes will at least get them across the finish line.

She’s suffered the most of the three. She’s lost a lot of leaves and the ones that are still here have yellowed quite a bit.
She’s at just over week 9, which is the breeder’s estimate. She has slowed on new pistil production, but I haven’t scoped the trichs yet. I will probably start taking a look next week.
Critical Mass
She’s right behind gelato in leaf damage. She didn’t lose as many leaves, but the yellowing is pretty heavy on her too. Lots of fresh pistils still popping out, so she’s got some weeks to go.
Last up, blood orange sorbet
She’s still in pretty good shape. A few yellow leaves here and there, but much improved over the other two.
The whole gang
It’s lame only having three in the tent, but that dang Cherry 18.. I took a clone first, just because I can’t fully let go yet, but I culled Cherry. She grew so slowly and so densely, I didn’t see it going very well. Also, she was already showing signs of nute deficiency and I did not want to deal with an entire bloom cycle of it. The clone seems to be growing at a better pace, so I may give it another try. I’ll aggressively prune and shape her along the way if I do decide to grow it out.
As far as the veg tent, there’s just OG Kush and some clones - Candida, 2 critical mass reveg’s, and Cherry 18. I probably should’ve dropped more beans a few weeks ago, but this summer has been busy and I didn’t even think of it.
I hope you’re all doing well. I’m slowly trying to make the rounds and see what you're all up to these days. These new notifications seem terrible to me. It makes it harder to see what’s going on. I can’t even imagine how many someone like Shed is getting! Hopefully they take that away soon.
