Heavenly Hybrid’s Hideout: Jump In Anytime

And it looks like that Gelato is going to be one of your tent hogs like the old days. :)
:laughtwo: I keep saying “this time I’m going to keep them small”, I’ll get it right one of these days!

Thanks Shed, OG is probably my most favorite smoke, and that last OG was special. I’m also interested to see how this soil does through blooming.

The quads all look just great, HH,
And fingers crossed for the OG Kush!
Tucking isn’t very effective on her.
The only place to tuck anything is under another leaf, and then that one's in the way...
I don't like clipping leaves this early either, but there comes a time when you've got no choice..
I'm sure she can spare a few.. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Great update Hh! Man those quads are are looking really good! Great job on your training you are going to have sooo many bud sites come flower time!

Fingers crossed for the Og seed drop and I hope she grows into your next favourite smoke:green_heart:

Lol, you’re 100% on that one! I did end up taking a few last night. I was surprised at how much removing a few helped. Nicely opened up now.
Fingers crossed for the Og seed drop and I hope she grows into your next favourite smoke:green_heart:
Thanks N! I’m eagerly checking, starting today. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Okay, last piece for today. First is a pic of Cherry-18 after I removed a few blocking fan leaves. I also adjusted the ties a little and added a couple more to the 2nd tier arms. Lol, not sure what to call them?

With some leaves removed, I was able to tuck the others out of the way more easily. I also put a book under her to raise her closer to the light. Maybe her slow growth was because she was too far away? I’ll watch for any light stress, but I think she’ll be good. In fact I’m hoping it will give her a boost!

The other issue I was noticing is mostly with Critical Mass. After her up-potting, I’m seeing some hooking at the tips of several fans. Blood Orange has a few, but much more with this one.

Experimenting with arrows! :D

If I remember correctly, that’s a N thing? Too much N? I’m not sure how to really address issues with a loaded soil. Hopefully it doesn’t worsen and I can just forget all about it. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Thanks to you all, for coming along with me on this lil journey. :circle-of-love:

Way to open up Cherry 18 Hh!

What book did you use inquiring minds want to know!
This one comes highly recommended!

I think you nailed it Hh! That clawing does normally indicate an excess in N or just the early signs of to much food in general.
When I see that I normally follow up my feeding with a plain watering to balance it out a bit but not sure what you could do with a pre loaded soil. I’m thinking she will probably grow out of it as she gets more established in the pot, hopefully someone with more organic soil experience can chime in.

Haha! No bible. I like to feed my girls’ brains, so I use my old psychology books. Lol, just the right thickness. :thumb:

I sure hope so! Fingers crossed.

Could also be over watering , high temps or windburn. Leaves can hook for many reasons.

Love you!
Hmmm. Could be from wind burn then? That girl was in the middle slot, with the fan blowing straight on her. I switched her to the L side because she was blocking the wind to BOS. I don’t think I’m overwatering? But you never know with me. And temps have been steady. Thanks VG!

Her color doesn't look too dark green, so I don't think it's an N problem- my plant's got some of those hooked leaves too, but everything else seems to be good, so I'm not worried about them...if  all the leaves start doing it, I'll start worrying...:high-five:

Hello again my bud loving friends! We had a semi-busy weekend and I nearly made a fatal mistake! Not fatal for me, but for lil OG

Being wrapped up with Father’s Day, I completely forgot to watch for OG to pop up. I had put a plastic drip catcher over the top of the solo cup, and when I finally remembered to check it again… yikes! It had grown up to the drip catcher and it’s little head was touching the ceiling. It also had a helmet on! The stem was wiggly and curved like a snake and it looked so frail. I put a glob of saliva on the helmet and let it sit for a minute. The helmet came off, but there was still a tiny piece of membrane holding the tips of the cotys together. I finally got that off too and the cotys looked pretty wimpy and pale. Poor thing. I added some more dirt to support the long wriggling stem and said good luck and goodnight.

This morning when I checked her again

Much better than it was before. How could I forget about you lil OG?!
o_O

Everything else is plugging right along. I hope you all had a nice Father’s Day/Juneteenth weekend. If I missed any dads on here, I hope it was a good one for you and your family!

@Amy Gardner taught me that they’re more pliable when on the dry side, less likely to break.
:smokin2::green_heart: Via me via @newty :green_heart: if memory serves…
when I spill, it’s just water! :thumb:
:cheer:
been missing it so much
It’s on my list to try to fit in, thanks to your hearty recommendations. I’ve still not popped any of the ones I have.
…so happy to see your hideout garden grow so well! heavenly!

Lil OG...only 1 day old, and already she's gotten past bumping her head on the ceiling, helmet head, stuck cotyledons, and a wriggling stem... :)
Looks like you've got a winner there, HH!

Amy!!! :love:Yes indeed, the OG was from the Dope Seeds pack that you gave me too, so I hope you have the same batch. I’m so very grateful for those seeds. It’s so wonderful to have you pop in!:love::love:

Haha, you’re not kidding Carcass! I guess they really need to be tough if they want to live in my garden.

Amy sightings are ephemeral...gotta enjoy them while you can!
:ciao:
Yes sir! It brings such a smile to my face every single time. :cheesygrinsmiley: Like spotting a shooting star.
