Heavenly Hybrid’s Hideout: Jump In Anytime

Hello again grow friends! I got some work done on the 3x3 autos and more today.

Starting with the autos, I did some defol - brace yourself if you’re the “leave them alone” type. ;) I did not leave them alone.

First up, lemon auto

I thinned down the leaves a bit and gave her a mini lollipopping. Like the dum dum of lollipops.

Next up, I did the same with amnesia, but there was much less to trim away with her.

Lastly, DDA - I barely took any leaves off. She stretched so much, it really wasn’t necessary.

One side perk for doing this is it become immensely easier to water each of these girls, especially DDA in the back.

Hopefully this will help bring the rh down a bit. I tried opening the ports and turning up the exhaust, but it didn’t help at all! I guess it’s just humid around here lately or something. Last thing I can do is find a way to plug in one more thing and add my small dehuey.

I’m starting to think I’ll need to move some girls around as harvest starts? The perseverance tent is in a room with a dehumidifier, so I’ll have to see how that goes.

Another chapter in VG’s perlite cloner has been tested. A few weeks ago, I asked Mr H if he wanted me to keep any clones of the kushes going. He said “yeah, mango.” “And cpk” “and blackberry and og”. So I laughed and  he’s just no help! I ended up taking 5 cuttings from mango kush (they were already in bloom, mind you) and put them into my perlite cup filled 1/3 with water. A week or so later, I checked the cuttings. The stems were already hardening when I took the cuttings and only one had the tiniest little root. Smaller than my pinky nail. So I put her back in and refreshed the water. Two more weeks later (today) I checked it again and.....

I’d say it works on reveg clones too!! So mango kush #2 is in the dirt!

And the last thing that I did was take some cuttings from the Candida mom and cleaned her up a bit.

And that’s about all I’m doing in the garden for one day! I hope you’re all doing well and your gardens are green!

Great update, HH!

That DDA will be a winner no matter what color she is at the end. :Rasta:

Yeah. Nice DDA, darlin'.

Glad you got a reveg clone to take. :slide:
I have some woody-ish clones from my GG4. Hope they work out. I'm a bit nervous.

I swear I will take a cutting off the Sour G this weekend and put it in perlite...those are some roots!
I shall believith it when I seeith it! :D

Thanks GDB! I’m looking pretty forward to it. Smells similar to the first one so far, still fruity and sweet.

1/5 isn’t a very good ratio, but it just takes one. I say - take lots and good luck :cheer:

:laughtwo: It's not in our nature to "leave them alone". Nice work on the pruning!

I guess I should go buy some perlite and give this a try. I've got a couple cuttings that I'm attempting to root now, but don't have high hopes for them.

Lovely garden Heavenly! :yummy:

Nice thick trunks and branching revealed by your terrific pruning.

That Lemon is stunning for an auto! :headbanger:
Thanks Felipe! It didn’t bring down the humidity like I hoped it would, but it’s nice and cleaned up now.
Nice balanced trim job heavenly!
Thanks Stone :)

Certainly not in my nature! :laughtwo:

I recommend it! It’s not a quick cloner with roots in 5 days, but it’s been very reliable for me. It stresses me out when I can’t get a Candida clone going - gotta keep Candida going! Since I started using the perlite, it’s much less stressful.

Just realized I forgot the family photo, oop!

They look beautiful, HH. Are they back right - Amnesia, back left - DDA and Lemon front left? What's the biggest yield you've gotten from a DDA? Yours looks spectacular compared to mine.

How long have you been growing?

Thank you HG! Sorry for not labeling, but you nailed it. This is only my second DDA, I think the first one ended up being somewhere between 1 - 1 1/2 oz? I forget, it’s been a little while now. I did grow that one under my old blurple lights and I’ve had the new light in there for almost a year. Oh man! I can’t believe I forgot my own growaversary! I started my first beans on the 4th of July, three years ago! Thanks for reminding me HG, I better go smoke a fattie now to celebrate! :ganjamon:

Happy Cannaversary, HH! :slide:
