Heavenly Hybrid’s Hideout: Jump In Anytime

If I could, I would run all my indoor grows at those temps. Autos seem to love it, and s do I. :cheesygrinsmiley:
I had no idea! I always thought 70-80 was the ideal. Do I need to worry more about wpm or anything at these temps?

Happy 4th, HH and family!
All of your autos are looking soooo good- my Amnesia doesn't even look like it's the same species....

I don't know that answer- my box gets that cool, but only for a few hours at night- otherwise it's 80f +
most of the time- even hotter on hot days..

Thanks carcass! Happy 4th to you and Mrs C too! I take that as high praise coming from you. I’ve been thinking the northern lights in my other journal, and the lemon in this one, are carcass-esk with their potential. We’ll see how they keep on, but maaayybe they’ll be close to your magical box beasts.

She’s becoming quite the intimidating little beast. I was starting to wonder if she was an auto at all!
That Lemon Auto is a beast, indeed! I've got one scheduled for my next auto run. I'm excited and worried at the same time. :laughtwo:
Starting to wonder if I got the green pheno???
I grew 3 DDa last season. All three were the stunted, wimpy pheno which all happened to be green also. Yours looks greatly better than mine did... it couldn't be the grower, could it? :hmmmm:

Lovely greenery you got going there, HH! :Rasta:

Really love the look of that Amnesia!

Hi Heavenly, I'm thinking you're right about thinking DDA is an illusive green pheno. She's pretty green for her age! Crossing extremities!
It’s my first time seeing one! Although I remember our old friend the coin clown, said there wasn’t much different in the flavor/effect. We’ll have to wait and see I suppose!

Lol, apparently she likes cooler temps? She vegged for a long time for us. As for DDA... ohh DDA... you just never know what you’re gonna to get. I’ve seen your grows... it’s definitely NoT the grower!

Thank you GDB, the real task now is to not mess her up for another month or so!

I grew my big DDA in February. It was pretty cool here.
I had a theory that they like cooler temps because of the Ruderalis.
Could it be that autos are programmed to flower with increasing temps as well as the lighting duration? Seems like one of those 'for science' thingies.
I don't think that it wouldn't be outside the realm of possibility though.
Wish I had the ability to test it out.

Kushes look fantastic btw. DDA is as well. I saw purple on the underside the leaves before I noticed it on the top.
Anything like that on your plant?

Thanks VG! I went and checked out the underside of the leaves

Maybe the tiniest tinge, but not really.

There are tiny bits of purple around, but not at all like the first one I grew.

I went back to look at when I harvested the last CPK I grew and coincidentally, I was growing a DDA at the same time then too.

A lot more purple a lot earlier on this first one. We’ll see how the new one turns out but seems like green she will be, still a ways to go though.

Yeah. Mine was bright purple by this stage. Probably a greenie. Maybe light pink?

Also....charge your phone. ;)

Happy 5th of July! That (mostly?) auto tent is looking great and whatever you're feeding them is keeping them happy. Don't worry about light leaks for autos...they don't care what schedule they're on or whether their dark period is a romantic restaurant or a disco ball. :)

Although I remember our old friend the coin clown, said there wasn’t much different in the flavor/effect. We’ll have to wait and see I suppose!
I thought that the sugar coated grower we were desperately seeking said the green pheno was definitely stronger, so I'm curious which one it is!

That was taken under purple light. ;)

Lol, I can’t break your code! I went searching and still couldn’t figure it out, BuT.. I saw another comment by ol clownie and he said the green DDA was fire! So, hmm... i guess I’m curious which it’ll be now too. Interesting.

I really had no idea either. In the fall and winter of last year I grew a few autos and they were perfectly happy at even 65 degrees. So far, knock wood, I’ve not had any issues with wpm. If you remember, I had a big Zkittles auto that I took down at least a week early and I got 8 ounces from her. Following Zkittles was Chocodope and she grew/thrived in the same environment. Maybe I just find it easier to “control” the temperature in the cooler months than in the warmer ones, but I’ve not had complaints from the plants during that timeframe. I can tell that my current auto grow is not appreciating the high-ish temps right now And I’m struggling to keep them comfy - even with a little a/c unit. It’s 92 degrees right now with a “feels like” temp of 98 degrees. I’ll likely be fighting those types of temps daily for the next 4-5 weeks. Yuk! :cheesygrinsmiley:

I hear you loud and clear on trying to control those temps Boo! I was surprised how well my little pampered tent dwellers did when the heat was on them. We’ll see how they turn out in the end of course, but it sure seems like they are a resilient little weed! More resilient than I am, that’s for sure.

Sugar is sweet.

There was a movie in the 80s with Rosanna Arquette and Madonna called Desperately Seeking Susan.

;)
Ahhh! Doy! Right at the edge of before my time, I wasn’t allowed to watch that movie cause I was too little. ;) Lol, but now I got ya! And after finding another comment saying it’s fire... it sounds like this greenie might be pretty interesting after all!
