Hello again my lovelies, it’s been a while since I’ve posted a true update, so here we go!
Candidas + Afghani are coming along nicely. We’re 17 days post flip.
Just finished cleaning underneath and clipped away some weaker side branching. It hurt to clip away some decent sized branches, but I have to keep them from getting crazy overcrowded. I had to remind myself: the whole damned tent is Candida... it’s ok to clip some away... lol, it was still hard.
Some nice stacking.
Last time growing Candida, I had to cut her tops down because she was getting too tall before I was ready to flip. I ended up with a good harvest (3 oz), but the majority of it was medium/small buds. Candidas kind of grow that way anyway, but I was missing the great stacking on the top colas! This time I left them all intact, and even though they are uneven canopy-wise, I am really eager to see how these colas finish.
As for the baby candidas, they are acclimated to the dirt now and looking mostly perky once again.
This front middle one is looking pretty rough, and is drinking very slowly compared to the rest. I really only need one, so away with you!
Much better.
Candidas will finish just after the 8 week mark. Now that we are over two weeks in, it’s time to drop some beans!! I’ll save that for another post though... still haven’t decided 100%, plus I’m still kinda half waiting for a seed delivery.
I hope you’re all doing well and stayin safe. This week was a tough one for me mentally. I’m feeling a lot better now, but it can really sneak up on ya; and if your struggling even a little, just know you’re not alone. Please do your best to take care of yourselves lovies, mentally and physically.
