HashGirl's First Indoor Grow: Dark Devil Autos In Hempy, 2020

Thanks for giving me the update on what day of the week it is, dynamo. :laughtwo:

I actually knew it was Saturday today because my 4 sisters are holding a pandemic birthday party for me this afternoon via Zoom. :battingeyelashes:

This birthday was supposed to be celebrated in a big way as I'm turning 60. My third youngest sister was going to host a retirement/birthday party for me on May 30 but that's not going to happen now so celebrating my birthday for 4 or more days will help make up for it.

I retired from my job yesterday after 30 years there and the first thing I wanted to do on my first official day of retirement was learn how to grow cannabis. I've been reading about growing hempy for a while now and have lots of great help from the guys on Hempy Headquarters like @FelipeBlu , @Buck5050 , @DrDoob , @CADBOY , @Piña Delores, @bluter and, last but not least, @SweetSue. So, as you can tell from the title, I will be growing 2 Dark Devil Autos in Hempy. I chose hempy because that's Sue's preferred growing medium and she has agreed to mentor me. :battingeyelashes: And, I chose Dark Devil because I :love: it.

Okay, here are the basics:

Currently, the seeds are in 16 ounce plastic cups covered with plastic wrap. When they're ready to move to bigger pots, I will be moving them to two 2L black pots.

It's 73F in the tent but the seeds are in plastic cups about 9" under an LED light.

Type and strength of ferts used?

For the first feeding, I mixed 1/4 teaspoon General Hydroponics FloraGro and 1/4 teaspoon General Hydroponics FloraMicro into 3.79 liters of well water. I then poured out enough of it to fill 2 16-oz plastic cups with it.

For Autos, it’s best to up pot before the roots get too crowded. Penny’s advice about the leaves going over the edge of the cup is good.

Transplanting a perlite hempy is very simple. Cover the hole, float the perlite, give the cup a little squeeze, wiggle/gently swish the stem a bit, and lift. Have your hole/depression in the new pot ready, gently position the roots, and cover. Done!

So, apparently, I should have already up potted the seedlings to the 2L containers. What I need to know is, in addition to Felipe's advice above, do I need to add any nutrients or water to the 2L pot either before or after I transplant the DDAs and if I'm adding nutrients, how strong? Half strength? Quarter strength?
 
I'm not currently feeding them anything other than water.

I added nutrients when the seeds first went into the perlite (May 1) but I haven't added any since.

So when I planted the seed in the solo cup, Sue had me blocking the hole in the cup and adding the water and the nutes to the cup for the perlite to soak in for a couple of minutes before I added the seed. Should I do the same for the up pot? Block the hole, add water with the nutrients, let it sit for about 5 minutes and then unblock the hole and add the plants?

Also, how far from the light should my plants be when they go in the tent? And, I assume running them 18/6 is okay?
