HashGirl's 2021/2022 Grow: Blue Dream, Clementine, Gelato & Pineapple Express In ProMix

*** Update Time ***
Good afternoon/evening.

Highlights from the garden this week include:

  • I sprayed Safer's on my plants on January 16 and again on January 21.
  • I applied a silica foliar spray to the Clementines on January 18 after I read an article, that I now can't find, that said it would be a good idea to use silica when growing Clementine.
  • The BB autos have sprouted up now that I'm feeding them closer to what they're supposed to be getting. :laughtwo:
I think that's it so without further ado, here are the photos:

And, that's all. Thanks for stopping by. Comments are always welcome.

Good leaf colours all around HG :green_heart:
Nice garden(ing).
Did the clementines notice the Si do you think? I always think plants seem to love foliar feeds. More than citric acid sprays anyway!
I like your simple and straightforward approach with training. It gives you those busy, bushy tops? Nice.

Thanks, Donkey. The Clementines have actually looked kind of droopy since I hit them with the Si foliar spray.

You are such a busy girl. I wish I had half the energy you seem to put out!

I‘m going to try my hand at some quad training this grow so as usual I will be keeping close tabs on your current.
And by the way the DDa I just completed is absolutely stunningly incredibly delicious with the most mellow warm feeling high ever. Score100% There will be more.

The BBs are already looking better

It's amazing what feeding them properly will do. :laughtwo:

It's actually not bad now since most of the plants are pretty little still. It's when I have 3 full tents of flowering plants that I seem to run into trouble. I'm hoping to start a perpetual grow this year so this should help.

I'd like to try quadlining but I always seem to leave it too late. Can you quadline a plant where the first node is ~6" up?

I'm happy you love the DDa. Are you planning on growing Big Devil XL at some point, too? It's one of the parents of the auto and I believe it delivers the same kind of high.

Wow, those BBs have decided to get it in gear, eh? They were looking iffy there for a while, nice job bringing them up. Your Gelato buds look great! Head's up, the buds on that strain, at least for me, got extremely dense, like, extremely. Enough so that you may want to make sure your air flow game is in place strongly. I had a dedicated fan blowing only on the Gelato the buds were so dense, and I still lost about a 1/4 of my plant to bud rot. Just a head's up, not sure if you've grown this strain before. Nice work.

Plants are looking good HG! So much green and I really like the rectangular shape on the GEL2, since that's the exactly what I'm trying to get my Doug's Varin to look like. :)

Thanks, Shed. I wasn't trying for a rectangular shape so maybe that's what you should try? ;)
On an auto probably not, but on a photo for sure! And when you transplant it you can bury a lot of that stem anyway.

Great! Thanks. I also reviewed Dutchman1990's post on quadlining that you posted for Krissi (?) on someone else's journal so thanks for that as well.

Thanks, Jon. The buds on the Gelatos aren't terribly dense yet and at this point, they're the only 2 plants in the flower tent although that will be changing soon as I'm about to put the Clementines into flower, too.

Another grow, another spreadsheet!

Looking forward, HG. :green_heart:

I DEMAND some pivot tables dammit! All that tabular data is just...well...not pictures. I just don't appreciate it. Every time I pick up a novel, it is all words. Where are the damn pictures?!

I haven’t started a bucket list of my next seed purchases but I do like the Sweet Seeds program and a number of their strains. Right now I have some Diesel Haze that is on the schedule for the next grow that I’d like completed before the heat of late summer.

Data analysing and pivot tables are something that I don't really know how to do. I've taken Excel training and learned about pivot tables but I never really got a chance to use them on a daily basis. And, what you don't use, you can't remember.

And, I track everything but I have no idea how to analyse the data. I was hoping to take a course in it but it just never happened.

I have a degree in database management. Various software suites...

I was only kidding you BTW. If there is ever any data you want to query to produce information to make decisions on your data, let me know. I can try and help. You will find where you need more data and where you don't. Normally though, you will find where your data is weak and then build on that.

There is nothing wrong with your data BTW. I should make sure I sat that.

Normally...when the query process starts is when the crazy comes out and another personality is born. My employer didn't like being told their data sucks. Apparently something about speaking truth is offensive and not conducive to making good business decisions.
