Peyote Critical Strain Info
With THC levels in the mid to high 20s and high levels of CBD, Peyote Critical tends to produce a strong, physical high that makes it especially popular among medical users. It’s an 80% Indica feminized cannabis strain, which is why its effects tend to be more physical than cerebral. Expect a calming, even mystical high that will help you relax yet remain focused.

Peyote Critical Flavour Is Great for Those with A Sweet Tooth
The flavour and aroma profile of Peyote Critical tends to lean toward the sweet side and is one of its most attractive characteristics. In terms of taste, you’ll likely detect some delicious notes of vanilla, mango, and blueberry, with some earthy flavour just underneath. Its aroma tends to be a bit more pungent, with many describing it as an enticing mix of aged wood and sweet coffee.

A Generous Grow That Can Stand Up to The Elements
This feminized marijuana strain is a tough plant suitable for a wide range of growers. Regardless of location or experience level, Peyote Critical tends to produce excellent results.
  • Like both of its parent strains, Peyote Critical produces generous yields of 650g/m2 (247 oz/ft2).
  • It has a short flowering time of just 50 to 60 days.
  • The strain also has excellent resistance to mold.
  • It grows well in cool climates.

Peyote Critical’s Genetics Give It Some Colour
Peyote Critical is a cross between Peyote Purple and Critical Kush, with each parent leaving its stamp on this feminized cannabis variety. Peyote Purple is responsible for its beautiful, colourful leaves and flowers, with purples, oranges, and bright greens a delight to the eye. Critical Kush, meanwhile, gives this strain its powerful effects. The result is a harmonious blend of two very different strains whose characteristics complement each other well.

Effects
Peyote Critical is recommended for those consumers who seek to enhance their productivity. In addition to its powerful energy lift that often comes accompanied by tingly sensations, this weed delivers a pleasant, relaxing meditative effect. Not only does it bring users into a peaceful state of mind, but it can also induce the desire to make something by hand and help keep them focused longer.

Thanks to the strain effects, it also works wonders in fighting depression, panic attacks, and anxiety. In addition to that, it can be used to treat loss of appetite, stress, fatigue, muscle cramps, pain, glaucoma, insomnia, hypertension, bipolar disorder.

Although the potency of the Peyote Critical strain is higher above the average, it rarely causes negative reactions. The most common side effects registered in sensitive people after smoking this weed are thirstiness and dry mouth, hunger, low blood pressure.

And, lastly, we have Zkittlez:
ZKITTLEZ (1 seed)

Primary Terpenes:Caryophyllene, Linalool, Humulene
Genotype:Photoperiod
Phenotype:Indica-Dominant Hybrid (60% Indica, 40% THC)
Breeder:Blackskull Seeds
Genetics:Grape Ape x Grapefruit
Projected Flowering Time:49 to 56 days
Projected Yield:525g/m2
THC %:20
CBD %:<1

ZKITTLEZ STRAIN OVERVIEW
The Zkittlez strain is every bit as exhilaratingly fruity and delectable as a bag of Skittles. With notes of strawberry, grape, lemon, and berry, you will truly taste the rainbow after smoking this catch of a strain. Besides the amazing fruity breath, you’ll inherit after you smoke Zkittlez, you may also feel super relaxed, focused, and calm - to name a few. It’s a definite must for any fruit fan.

Zkittlez is a hybrid strain that both gives you a burst of energy and focus, while also allowing you to experience a mellow body high and zone out for the evening with some snacks.

Zkittlez is an extremely popular and well-respected strain, having won several awards including first place at the 2016 Emerald Cup and first place in both the San Francisco and Michigan Cannabis Cups during 2015. The main reason for such a high level of fame and popularity is due to the strain’s unique flavour. As its name suggests, Zkittlez is a strain with both a strong aroma and flavour that are repeatedly compared to the popular candy, Skittles.

Zkittlez is the result of Grape Ape, an indica strain, being crossed with Grapefruit, a sativa, creating a hybrid strain that combines the mind high that you would expect from a sativa with the physical effects that come with indicas. Being the result of two strains that have fruity names, Zkittlez was always going to have a robust and sweet flavour and aroma. You can expect an eruption that resembles a pack of fruit candies bursting open, filling the air with their sweet scent. The fruity theme carries over to the strain’s taste, with strong notes of both grape and grapefruit, from its parent plants, combined with a citrus tang.

Effects
Zkittlez is a fast-acting high, which begins with a sense of pressure around your eyes that quickly moves through your senses, leaving you with an enhanced sensory awareness. This is a great time to put on some thought-provoking music or a deep movie because Zkittlez allows you to see the world in a different and much more profound way. The uplifting effects of Zkittlez help you to feel motivated and ready to focus on tasks that require deep levels of concentration.

When taken in large doses, Zkittlez can cause distorted sight and a new way of seeing the things around you. This is something that you might only want to try at home or somewhere that you feel safe because, while this can result in a truly euphoric experience, it can also leave you feeling slightly anxious if you are not somewhere that you feel comfortable.

Times seems to pass much slower than normal, making the initial effects of Zkittlez appear to last much longer than they actually do. As the high develops it works its way through your body, filling you with a sense of calm relaxation, this can be a welcome change after the mind race that Zkittlez can cause. The deep, weighted feeling in your body can counter the mental motivation that can be experienced when first taking Zkittlez. It is, therefore, a good idea to use this strain to focus and work through tasks, to complete them early on during the high.

Towards the end of the high, you will feel a dip in your energy levels, finding that you have very little motivation to get up and move. This is not surprising given the rollercoaster that your mind has been on, and it is extremely enjoyable just to sit and chill as your body comes down from the high.

Zkittlez is an ideal strain to take during the late afternoon when you feel yourself lacking in motivation and need that burst of energy to finish of the day’s tasks. The slow, developing high means that you have enough time to finish off your day with a new sense of purpose and energy, before sitting back and relaxing as the body high sets in.

Appearance
Zkittlez’s buds are densely packed and resemble the kind of structure that you would expect from an Indica strain, rather than of a hybrid of this type. The buds are striking due to their unique color palette, a mix of light green shades that are tinted with purple hues. Making them even more unique, the buds are covered in thick white trichomes that work their way down to the stalks, providing a continuously furry appearance that goes over the entire plant.

Zkittlez’s leaves are small and delicate in appearance, also covered in the same thick white trichomes that are found on the buds. This gives leaves a smooth texture that is very rarely found on plants of a similar strain.

Zkittlez Cannabis Strain Grow Info
This is a plant that grows best in hot, humid climates. Depending on your climate, Zkittlez can be grown outside and benefits from the nightly temperature drops, allowing the purple hues that are found on buds to develop and be much more vibrant.

This is not to say that Zkittlez cannot be grown indoors but just that if the deep purple hues are something that you want to achieve on your own plants, finding a way to control the temperature and lowering it for a few hours every day is going to be important.

You can expect Zkittlez plants to flower between 8 to 10 weeks and for harvests to return a particularly large yield.

Medical Benefits of the Zkittlez Cannabis Strain
One of the main medical reasons for taking Zkittlez is to help manage stress and depression. Thanks to Zkittlez’s body high, it can help to relax your body while remaining mentally focused enough to continue with a productive day. The calming effects on your body make stressful situations feel much more manageable and reduce the likelihood of your physical stress levels rising.

The mental high that comes with Zkittlez also makes it a great option for people who suffer from ADD and ADHD. Thoughts become much deeper and focused, allowing you to stay on track and complete tasks without becoming distracted as easily.

The body high that results from Zkittlez also makes it an ideal strain for dealing with Insomnia. As the high develops the mellow, sleepy effects that take over your body that occur when taken in large doses can help you drift off to sleep trouble-free.

Another common effect when taking larger than average doses of Zkittlez is an increased appetite. As a result, it is often recommended for people who are struggling with a loss of appetite because of illness and medication as you can’t help but eat as much as possible once the high sets in.

Final Thoughts on the Zkittlez Cannabis Strain
Zkittlez is a fun, fruity strain which has both recreational and medical benefits. Famous for its close resemblance to Skittles candy in terms of both its flavour and smell, it’s uniquely childlike flavour profile, and high makes smoking Zkittlez a joy, almost like eating candy and being a kid again.

If you’re looking for a strain that works with you throughout the day, taking you from a productive afternoon to a laid-back evening chilling on the sofa, you are going to be extremely pleased with the effects of Zkittlez. This is a strain that comes in waves because of being a hybrid with distinct parentage; you experience both the mental highs of a sativa and the mellow body highs of an indica one after another.

Zkittlez is a perfect strain to take when you just want to enjoy yourself, alone or with friends. With a fantastic taste and mesmerizingly wonderful effects, this is a strain that everyone should try at least once.

Hey HG. Congrats on the birth of your Cheese! I love love love Cheese. It's big here. They grow it out in the mountains but that is not the same quality as craft grow. I have an auto Cheese to pop in May. It tastes fabulous and it puts me down! Looking forward to your new grow!

I've never had Cheese but since her cross of Skunk and Afghani both work for me, I think Chrissy will work out well.

Ahhh sht I seen that green tie around and I thought gumbie died. I got worried. Lol

What a great addition to the HashGirl family. Some good looking strains you’ve chosen. And to top it all off 100% germination:love:BANG!

I‘m far from an expert in lighting but on the same belief as Shed as the light may be too far away and making your sprouts stretch out. I used to use cfls on mine and had it around 30cm above the soil and now with a 150 led veg light it‘s about the same distance but have it turned down to like 25% until they get a good leaf. I’m curious as to how others light the germination and seedling stage.

It's easy to tell the sex without magnification... it's all about timing.
Well, I did have some trouble identifying my 2 male sativas. The females were easy... they showed stigmas. The males took maybe 3 weeks longer, and this is how they indicated... not easy to see without magnification. The 2 males are now about 6 ft tall in 2 gal pots. I'm going to top them and grow compact clones, in order to easily contain them for pollen collection.

Here's my whole update on my quest for mold-resistant strains...

Congrats on all the new sprouts! :cheer:

I do wonder why your seedlings are always so leggy regardless of variety though. Too little light or too far away maybe?

Now, they're approximately 8" away from the light in our baker's rack but when I was germinating them on the heating pad, they were about 12" away. Once I moved them to cups, I raised them closer to the light.

LOL!

This was one of my wife's favorite before-bed smokes until we ran out. She's moved on to Bedroom Cookies (Girl Scout Cookies Xtrm x Afgani) these days.

Nice. I think I would like any GSC cross since it's one of my favourites.

Bruce Banner #3 (Babs) Update

I'm getting the feeling like these are getting upcanned sooner than they need to be. Even Babs looks like it would be perfect in a solo cup.

Have their roots filled the cup before you transplant?

I almost always uppot once they're a month old. It's easier training them in a bigger pot, in my opinion.

This is how close the seedlings are to the light:
