HashGirl Implements A Perpetual Grow

*** VEG1 UPDATE ***

Good afternoon.

This week we have 2 new plants in Veg1 and Petra has moved onto Veg2 from Veg1. Here are the pics:

Meet Piper - Day 1:

Piper - Day 8 (Piper was really eager to get to the light and was touching it by Day 4. She's now about an inch from the light.):

The second Clementine and the second Pineapple Express didn't germinate so 2 more seeds went into water yesterday. The first 2 are only 8 days old so I figured they have time to catch up.

That's it for Veg1. Thanks for following along. Comments, questions and suggestions are always welcome.

*** VEG2 UPDATE ***
Good afternoon. Next up are the Veg2 girls who now include Petra (Peyote Critical) and Petra got a fancy new pot. i bought some bigger pots for the Veg2 stage than the 1/2 L pots I was using. I felt I wasn't on top of feeding them properly because of them being in smaller pots and drying out more quickly. Although, Petra is almost 20 days younger than the other girls, I think she looks the healthiest. I also topped her yesterday.

Anyhow, let's see some pics:

The only big news about the Flower1 girls is that I moved Candy to Flow1 from Veg2 on March 5. And, I think Babs is the prettiest of the 4. :battingeyelashes:

I'd say anything with the yellowing lowers should get moved to 4.5g/gallon.

Okay. Thank you.

Other than that they're looking good, and is that one of those bottom watering pots like Krissi uses?

It might be but I'm not using it that way. I bought it because it was red and the size I wanted.

Good afternoon.

The only news about the Flower 2 girls is that I've harvested them all and now they're hanging to dry:

I washed all 3 with citric acid and water before hanging. I'm planning on using lemon juice to wipe down the inside of the Flower 2 tent before I move the Flower 1 girls in there in a few weeks.

All 4 are off to a great start!
However close they are to the light is "just right" to keep the stretch away..
Well done, HashGirl👍

Congratulations:cheer:

Congrats on the harvest! The new babies look nice and healthy. Your little plants are looking strong and have their grow on. Does the weed hang in that room to dry HG? I was wondering about it being a well lit room.

Jen and Jake look their best upside down! Smelling good in there I bet!

Thanks, Carmen. Yes, that's where our drying rack is located. I've been drying my herbs there since I started growing in 2020. As far as I can tell, it's not a problem. There's a fan blowing indirectly on them.

Good afternoon.

Petra continues to look the biggest despite being the youngest. Her leaves are so big, they're mostly hanging over the side of the pot but there were a couple that wanted to lie in the dirt so I've added supports for the leaves. Zoe had a significant growth spurt, too. I've also increased their food to 4.5g/gal as per Shed's advice.

Looking good! You might want to take off the biggest fans on the bottom of Petra to spur some growth up top and get air moving across the soil as well.

Good idea. I'll do that tomorrow. Thanks, Shed. Have you recovered from the dreaded Covid?

*** FLOWER1 UPDATE ***
Good afternoon. Today, I will update you on the Flower 1 girls - Babs, Candy, Roxy and Suzy. I flipped Babs, Roxy and Candy to 12/12 on February 25 and Candy was flipped on March 5, 2023. Since they've moved to the Flower1 tent, there has been some big growth spurts. In someone else's journal, they're measuring the width of their plants so I have started doing that as well since height is impacted by training. I know width is impacted by training, too but I don't think it's as big an impact. There are also some leaf issues on Roxy, which I will show below. All 4 plants have a little bit but Roxy has the most. And, Candy grew a miraculous 7 inches over the past 8 days! Here are the pics:
