HashGirl 2nd Indoor Grow: Girl Scout Cookies & CB Dutch Treat In ProMix

Yes, I'm letting them dry out between waterings. I've been watering every 4 days but was thinking maybe I should be watering every 3 days due to the damage I'm seeing?

I will increase the nutes next time I water.

So, is all the yellowing and damage is due to not being at the correct MC strength?
You want the vegging plants to go through the wet/dry cycles to encourage the root growth. Once in flower, you don't want the containers to go as dry. That being said, it's pretty common for those mature plants to shed their lower leaves, so I don't really see a problem there. The middle damage looks like it may be a slight Calcium deficiency.

Okay. Thanks, guys.

So, I will start watering every 3 days and I will increase the nutes to 13/14 grams per 10 litres. Should I start with 13 and see how it goes or should I shoot directly to 14 grams?

Is it okay for me to pull off the yellowed/damaged leaves? That's what I would do if it was a different kind of plant like a tomato plant, for example.

Yes...The damaged leaves won't recover. :rip:

I don't think you should ever water on a schedule as it will cause the problems you're seeing. Pick up (or tilt if lifting is too difficult) and judge when to water by the weight. And let it get lighter in veg than in flower.

I would go to 14 so as not to overshoot, and see if the green color returns and the yellow/brown stops spreading.

Ideally they stay on the plant because it's obviously using the nutrients in them to feed itself. Only pull off the completely yellow ones, which are spent.

I'm going to hijack my own thread with some trichome photos of our outside grow. We've had some bud rot already and it's calling for 3 days of rain at the end of the week so we're trying to decide whether to harvest them before the rain or what? Let me know what you think.

Here is a close up of one that I told Felonious was ready:

The photo above is the plant that is furthest from the back door but most in the sun especially recently. It's also the tallest at well over 7 feet.

The plants (and their pics) are from left to right on our deck where the furthest left gets the most sunlight and the one furthest to the right gets the most shade.

Thank you.

We're going to pull down 3 of the 4 today. The 4th one is definitely not ready yet and it hasn't had any rot yet so keep your fingers crossed, it stays away.

Thank you, dynamo. Felonious and I plucked the fan leaves off 3 of the 4 plants and they will be chopped down tonight. The 4th one isn't ready yet and we'll just have to hope we get enough sunshine to make keeping it up worthwhile. The weekend is supposed to be mostly dry. It's tomorrow and next week that are looking wet.

Today was fertigation day. I fertigated with 14 grams MegaCrop to 1 gallon of water.

CBD1 has a lot of yellowing leaves in the middle of the plant (back left) and GSC1 (front left) also has some yellowing again in the middle of the plant. Here are the pics. Let me know what you think.

And, that's it. Thanks for following along.

Can you clarify this amount? Usually you tell us how many grams per 10 liters.

You're absolutely correct, Shed! I should have put 14 grams per 10 litres. Don't know what I was thinking about. :laughtwo:

Doggone it, I was in the midst of doing the conversion and calculation before I thought to go on to the next page of the thread.

Hi HG! Have you done a slurry test on the Promix? You're feeding more than enough imo and since the yellowing is not from the bottom I'm guessing it's not from lack of nutes. Before guessing at anything else it would be good to know what that pH value is.

EDIT: REMOVED link

Seems the link is broken for me. Shed has one I believe that he can post.
