HashGirl 2nd Indoor Grow: Girl Scout Cookies & CB Dutch Treat In ProMix

I don’t know about using a bucket, but placing fabric pots into perlite (not into solution) to sub-irrigate them was called SWICK by @SweetSue. It should come up with a search.

Basically, you have about 40% perlite in your container mix, keep the solution level 1” to 2” below the pot, and the perlite wicks the solution up to keep your container mix moist. Kinda like an external hempy. :laughtwo:

Thank you, my friend, I will check it out. Have I mentioned how happy I am that you're back yet? :hugs:

This could just be plant sweat (guttation). However, if the environment is too humid, you can get fungus issues.

I rubbed some of it between my fingers and it just felt like water and it had no smell that I could tell and it was totally clear as well so I hope you're right. I don't know what the humidity is with the lights on but right now it's at 69%.

do you have the old mac book ? you can donate them to folk who fix them and give them to low income people or needy students who need a computer.

there's is a $3 dollar ribbon at the back of the screen that connects to the bottom keyboard. they always give out. takes about ten minutes to fix.

macs are famous for it.

Unfortunately, I no longer have it as they gave me $300 for it (which, by the way, is more than I got for my truck when I bought my new car in February). However, I do have my first Macbook still. I bought it in 2008 and it lasted until 2014. The second one only lasted 3 years.

Good afternoon, all.

I checked all my plants for aphids this morning and didn't see any bugs at all. As I mentioned last night, the humidity in the tent is just at 60% so I don't know why there would be condensation but I guess that's what it is regardless.

Thanks for everyone's feedback last night.

...hehe...I'm still blown away at 2800 bucks for a laptop!... , but I'm a cheap SOB...;)...when missus' h00k's mac book was so old it couldn't take upgrades, she transitioned to an iPad, and hasn't looked back...personally, I've dropped Windows and made the switch to Chrome Books, cause there's really nothing I have to do, that may require offline work
...Good Luck with your girls, and as you can see, everyone here has your back...cheerz...:high-five:...h00k...:hookah:...

Thanks, h00k.

Yeah, I know it wasn't money well spent. Felonious calls himself a cheap bastard, too and he would never spend that kind of money on a computer.

However, that said, I believe I have far fewer problems with my laptop than Felonious does with his PC. And, my laptop weighs less than 3 pounds while his weighs at least 10 pounds so there's that. :battingeyelashes:

Good afternoon.

Today was fertigation day and I fertigated with 11 grams of MegaCrop to 10 Litres of water. Next watering, I'm planning on starting to bottom feed the way Felonious does.

He wraps microfibre cloths around the pot riser and sets it in the pan. The cannabis plant sits on top just like normal except for the cloth and add the nuted water to the pan and the moisture will wick up to the roots. It's like a miniature SWICK. The whole perlite and having more pots to use and issues with the height of the plants, etc. seemed way too complicated for what I feel capable of doing properly.

I agree 420% with this entire post, couldn't have said it better, and have nothing more of value to add! :high-five:

Thanks everyone. I think they look good, too (for the most part).

:welcome: to my grow journal, Konks and thank you.

Good afternoon, all.

Today was fertigation day and I fed all of them with MegaCrop. I'm currently using 11 grams in 10 litres of water.

There's a fair amount of yellowing on some of them, mostly Girl Scout Cookies 2 and CBD1. The yellowing on CBD1 is mainly in the middle and the yellowing on GSC2 is mostly on the bottom.

Here are the photos:

Since I took so many photos of the damaged leaves, I'll start a new post every 10 photos or so.

They look thirsty and hungry. At this point I would think you should be at 13-14g in 10 liters.

Are you letting them dry out between waterings like you would in veg?

Yes, I'm letting them dry out between waterings. I've been watering every 4 days but was thinking maybe I should be watering every 3 days due to the damage I'm seeing?

I will increase the nutes next time I water.

So, is all the yellowing and damage is due to not being at the correct MC strength?
