Thats awesome Crazy ! Not missing anything my friend, all just different ways to the same end.

Here is a pic I found online showing some full melt. Gives you an idea of what I am talking about:

Basically, its the purity of your product. Hash or keif with more plant material, will not bubble and melt, but instead burn. Gets you plenty high!! Not knocking it at all. Just explaining.

The bubble style bags allow you to get seperate clumps of different sized trichomes. Allowing a little more control over quality and purity. The first couple bags do not produce a full melt. Instead, the make a more traditional hash that burns very well.

Shoot, making myself drool ! I love the act of actually making hash. I know, odd. Its work, but its fun and making a product we all love.

Think its time to take a toke or two ! :smokin2:

Thanks for posting the hash tutorial Roseman - 5 stars on the thread. I didn't know how to form my dry gumby into one piece before without a press, but I do now with the oven method.

I like a chunk of hash better than loose kief as well and the method of compressing it that you showed will get a try very soon as I've still got about a film canister of kief left over from the last grow.

As ALWAYS Roseman my friend, you have outdone yourself and provided me as well as countless others with invaluable information. Now I know exactly what to do when it comes to harvest time and Hash.

I have a travesty to report though, Roseman I will post it up in the DWC thread, please check it out

I find 10% to be a little more accurate. 100 grams of skuff = 10 grams of quality hash. All depends how your making it.

Purp - check out Vorsprung bags or something like that. Quality is same as a bubblebag for not even half the price. :rasta:

great job Roseman...very informative and interesting, dont know if i'll ever make it tho but I am going to make the oil with iso propel alcohol and my wife just made 2 lbs of cannabutter...

Management and Staff here are discussing if I can do a Tutorial on OIL making, using Iso. They fear recommending anything flamable and having some member become the next Richard Proyor running downt he street in flames.

I understand management's take on it but you would have to try really, really hard to get iso to burn using the blender method. Just don't smoke when you do it and your home free. It's like turning off the power before you work on a recepticle.

Having said that an error on the side of caution is understandable.
