H00k's Not So Hillbilly This Time Grow - Girlz 2017

Info update...no pic's...Chopped the PE yesterday...despite her short stature, she should probably yield more than the OG...nice solid sticky cola's...will post some pic's later in the week...as well as some of the other girls...Malawi's are flowering(one has a nice structure, and the other is bushy dwarf...kinda reminds me of the PE, and that turned out OK)...The other girlz have all thrown out some pistils and are all healthy except for a few hash tips here and there while I get used to these lights...had them outside today for a feeding(fish/seaweed/rock dust)...some trimming and tucking and tied a few branches down...was thinking about flipping in 11 days...that will be 60 days from hitting the dirt...will decide then, yay or nay...anyways...everyone have a great evening and upcoming week...cheerz!...h00k...:Hookah:

Sparing with Mother Nature are we. :)

Nearly exactly the opposite of my Problem with High Temps & Low Humidity
Been moving lights adding fans/Humidifiers/swamp cooler/In-Line fan/Lower
watt HID (400W MH + 200W T5's) instead of 600w MH, changed light on/off
to keep away from the hottest part of the day and still best I have achieved is
83.5 temp and mid to high 40's RH, I'll be adding another small humidifier today
and a bigger swamp cooler.

I guess that's not real bad when the outside temps are triple digits and I wont
turn on my Air Conditioner (basically doubles my electric bill).

That water looks so pretty,,, oh and the plants too.... I love that green-blue water. I think there's a time and place for autos. Man that R/H is up there. Keep your eyes pealed.. They girls sure look happy,, and Keepem Green Oh ain't no such thing as hillbilly, if it works....

Nice temps to be on the lake fishing. How about some auto nugget shots?

Just out of curiosity, what's your lake water test at for ppm, PH, and do you water with it? keepem green hook!

HA!...if I had to fish just to eat, I might be out there..Too miserable fer me...cool east wind/fog/almost steady drizzle/...Nope!!...lolool...I might have test reports somewhere on the lake water, but I don't have a clue where... they were fine for consumption...we used it for everything for better than 15 years...something happened to the water line when we poured the slab for the basement we put under the house...so it was start jackhammering or drill a well...went with the well...will get some pics up in a few days...

Dang hook! 90% wow. That's rough for sure!

You know it!...shitty summer so far...it does get up some in the daytime when lights go out, but will stabilize when the lights come on in the evening...I do have a portable AC/Dehummer we use for the house that I could throw out there if it continues into full flower time

Yeah Gaz...more of a battle this year...especially with all the LEDs throwing way more heat than my old set up...I have been able to keep things in check pretty much so far and I don't mind some swings while in veg as long as I have good air flow...hopefully conditions will take a turn for the better...if I gotta throw some money at it, I guess I will...but I'd rather not...lolool...

That water is just dark and cold today...about a week ago the surface temp was only 57F about 10 degrees lower than normal for this time of year...yeah the autos were a fun thing to try while waiting for the weather...I will probably continue to dabble...hehehe...I like that last line!

Thanks all for dropping by...appreciate it...Cheerz!...h00k...:Hookah:

I love that view.... All I wood need is a 16' Boston Whaler with a 50 HP on it,, and I'd never come home.... Or better yet a houseboat...
Congrats on the Harvest.
Plants look fantastic.. Keepem Green

Thanks Woodie!...houseboats are not very practical on this pond...very limited cruising you could do when the lake acts up..."Superior it said, never gives up her dead when the gales of November come early"-Gordon Lightfoot...I've had more than one "white knuckle" ride in my 24 footer...brings to mind one time I had a buddy on board...we were spending a couple nights out...half way to our first destination...we got into big water, head on the bow...even down to 500 rpm's, the bottom would drop out and we'd be smashing down...shit was flying everywhere...buddy says "should we put life jackets on?"...I says "Sure, makes the bodies easier to find!"...that did nothing ease his nerves...lolool...needless to say, when we got to the dock in a sheltered bay...Captain Morgan joined us!...lolool...fun times...cheerz...h00k...:Hookah:

Great story, to me those are the experiences that let you know you are ALIVE,
Life at the edge is so under-rated.

EDIT: But I am starting to understand the Lyrics
"Life is more Precious when there is LESS of it to waste"
Bonnie Raitt,

Bonnie Raitt,

So true Gaz!...and while you won't find me out free climbing any mountains...even at mid sixties...a lil' calculated risk gets the blood flowing(could even be as simple as climbing 3/4's of the way up a 40 foot extension ladder...lolool)...as well...after a health issue in 98' and subsequent surgery/recovery...decided to push the edge on our financial comfort zone and start winter vacations earlier than anticipated and have never looked back...Funny you should choose Bonnie...I've been a fan forever!...she was in town last month, and although I couldn't attend...Missus h00k and our daughter did...killer performance by all reports!...cheerz!...h00k...:Hookah:

Dude, We are like experiencing the same things :) Last summer I painted our 2 story house, by myself,
Family can let you down sometimes.

Anyway at the top of that ladder, one handed while scraping, sanding, primer and final coat was definitely
one of those calculated risk :) Actually told my Cuisine, who lives with me, I need to carry my 38 in case I
fall because NO ONE will find me until they need something. You would think after telling him that he would
of come out to look when I intentionally dropped a bucket of the ladder just to see if anyone would look,
NOPE.

Oh well can't choose your family, still love em

Ha Gazoo! I always said,. "If you ever want to know who your friends are, paint your house".

I didn't know you were on the real big pond hook. Wouldn't catch me on her with anything under 20' and a least a kicker for a 2nd motor. I'll have my toes in her next week. Too damn cold to go any deeper! How often does your bay freeze over? Plants are looking good. Any feedback on your soil thus far? I see 1 Malawi flowering, how about the other? I didn't know those were autos. I'm telling you sir, next time you go with that seedbank, get the Maui!

Yup..Gitchigoomi...with my 24(twin screw diesel...2 50 HP Perkins) had to pick my days for any longer cruises...i.e...trip to Isle Royale...cause it is slow(8 knots is her comfort zone) but economical and dependable...I haven't had her in the water for some years now...actually have her up for sale casually...lake time now is the 16 footer...90 Merc and a 8 hp Honda kicker, and if worse comes to worse...bow mount trolling motor to get to safety and walleye fishing inland...
Last winter was the first year one couldn't drive on the ice...typically it would be January when it would be safe to venture out on foot at least and for sure in February for all modes of transportation

...as for the soil...its OK...not outstanding like some of those Brix grows...growth, although healthy, is a lil' less than I hoped for...but like trying anything new...to be expected...prolly continue the path...lots to learn in that regard...

...the runt malawi is just starting to flower and a lot different from her sister...some major trimming and LST last night and put her under the 1000 watt to try and bump her up...

...was going thru' my seed stash on this rainy day...shouldn't buy seeds for a while...but...can;t help myself...so Yeah...maui is on the radar...lolool...Cheerz Bud...h00k...:Hookah:...Oh!...where Ya dipping Yer' toes in Gitchigoomie?...

buddy says "should we put life jackets on?"...I says "Sure, makes the bodies easier to find!"...that did nothing ease his nerves...lolool:

Drove to Alaska with a friend to work on a Set Net Site (nets on the beach, as tides fluctuate where low tide 100' of net is dry at low tide and covered in water at high tide), and they were wanting to go to some other town in a 12' boat and I said "w/o life jackets? no freaking way" and they said same "makes it easier to find the bodies, even though the current will take you to Russia, and what's the point as your life expectancy w/o the special suit is less than 10 minutes as the water is so cold" I still said no freaking way ;)....turns out the motor quit on them and they had to row a long ways to get back, so it was a good call on my part ;):rofl:
