I hope so! Mostly it's due to no where to clip the light, but I like your thinking. 
Kind of reminds me of an early 90's Rave

So. I'm never buying an expensive LED again. I'm just going to buy fifty of these.
I bought a four pack for $38.00 US at the 'zon. Primarily for seedlings, clones, small veg stuff and booster lights when not being used for those projects. The idea was to reduce the number of 6500K CFL's at 23 watts each and eliminate a tube eating 2x2 8 tube T5 at 140 watts.
Mission accomplished.
I like them so much I bought another 4 pack. I'm using one 6500k cfl with every two of these and having really good results. Clones and seedlings are actually growing too fast lol.
After seeing some positive comments on the 5000K spectrum from some COB people I figured what the heck and used three to grow a massive 5.7 dry gram producing auto flower. It was Bottle Cap (Trans Siberian x Devil Cream) which is a small auto anyways. What really impressed me was it still had it's resin production. Now that it's dried and somewhat cured it's also the best smoke I've ever grown under 42 watts lol. Better than some under a 1000+
If anyone wants to try them for their original intent (or use 50 to flower lol) any Brand PAR38 bulb will work, but the CRI rating should be 90+ for plants. These rate at 94. Good luck finding a 6500K with that CRI. 5000K seems to be as close as they get. They only have a 60 degree lens but add an extra foot of distance and it covers about a 2 foot circle with fairly good penetration. So long as things aren't too thick. They will burn your plants if too close just like the big lights. Fried one of my girls in the main flower tent trying to provide side lighting. I didn't really need the popcorn anyways lol.
All in all, a powerful little helper light. 5 crystal ball rating.

I'll get over there and post them. They are making my small stuff grow too fast though lol. I may cut it back to a 1 led to 1 cfl ratio. I've been so busy lately I can't keep up.

Myco-Tek Seeds - Gorilla Dog. This is spelled "Dog" and not Dawg intentionally. It's the original pre-back crossed strain of Gorilla Dawg which is released for sale. Awesome lineage either way, but it's nice to be on the team and have access to stuff that won't be sold. I really need to jump on some of the other stuff he sent me. He's truly a talented up comer.
The ritual "two weeks" early sacrifice. The proof is in the product lol. Pretty ripped

They still haven't broke. I'll give them a light misting at lights out. That might do it when they dry. Wish they would hurry. I want my space back.
Goes to show how good the Gorilla Dawg is. I had it wrong. Dawg actually is spelled that way. It's the F1 predecessor of Guerilla Dawg F2. I was just focused on the wrong animal lol. The spelling changed with the back cross. The first of the two just got cut and is hanging now. The smell is amazing.

An interesting reversal experiment with my White Widow cut. Using 50ppm CS, but with an STS schedule. Two treatments about a week or two before flip. Small 2 gallon pot and somewhat nitrogen starved. I doubt the last two have much to do with it, but she is lightly stressed intentionally. I was going to use her for strictly pollen collection by CS (if it worked) and Rodelization, but she reversed so early she has Selfed. I planned on backing her up with S1 seeds anyways, just not this time She's a magnificent cut. I can't believe I've been working it for over 15 years now and she's exactly the same as day one. Just solid rock hard almost unsmokeable buds no matter how bad you f it up lol. The only way to loosen them is to do this to it.

Some experimental stuff. The front is a third pheno of the Khione. It didn't really have the traits I'm looking for but it's been crossed with the White Widow, Gorilla Dawg and American Pie reversed pollen. The tall one in back is IHB Electric Avenue that has been seeded in the same fashion.
Just realizing that my cupboards are a strange place to be lol. Various ferment supplements.
The reason I'm at the cupboard to begin with Myco-Tek Seeds - Gorilla Dawg
More for the collection. I pre-sexed a male and female seed from the Rip City Purps. Both look like they will crack sometime tonight.

High Sue! There's more. I think I mentioned this a while back but I had the wrong strain. It wasn't Bottle Cap (Devil Cream x Trans Siberian) dang it. Love that flavor. But, it is Eraser (Black Cream x Vertigo) which is every bit as unique and tasty. A little more knockdown punch than the Bottle Cap lol. This is the first clone from the mother labelled BCXE for now. Tips burned a little at transplant so it shows the sensitivity of the dark parent
This is actually a good thing considering what I'm looking for. What makes it special is it is a photosensitive revert. Finally a chance at some Sweet Seeds purps genetics in a photo version. 
We'll see how it all plays out.

I was just contemplating the number of crosses that are going to come from this run and I still don't have a final figure.
There was two reversed Gorilla Dawg. One of each pheno. There was a reversed American Pie and the White Widow. Those are the four pollen sources. The receiving mothers are one Super Lemon Haze. Two Permafrost. Two American Pie, one of which has proven to be a killer pheno. One Khione pheno 3. One Electric Avenue. One yet to be named Dark Angel x Permafrost. One Gobbilygoo, and another White Widow. The first five plants listed are either being cut now or coming down in a few days. The other half has a ways to go. What amazes me even more than keeping track is the fine art of keeping it under the legal limit. Sheesh
