Gypsy's Caravan Chronicles - Book 1 - Caravan Chaos

Yum!!! :passitleft:

:passitleft:

Yep.

You know you're stoned when you've been watching ladybugs for the last half hour. :laughtwo:

Beautiful photos though. I want what you're smoking. Oh wait! I have two kinds of DDA. Never mind. Lol!

:passitleft:

The last few days I've been smoking mostly Khione. The Scott's OG x Permafrost cross that I've been working with. Just a few early samples but already exceeding my expectations. Really potent :) with a fun high.

I do need to start another DDA though. :high-five:

Good morning :420:

Breakfast with Paradise Seeds - Opium :) Grown in Wizard, strictly using only the experimental culture and a little cal-phos. She has a very interesting fruity flavor. An almost pepper-ish, but not quite, hidden bite. Well described by the breeder as "almost hallucenogenic" in effect. Really good producer. :thumb:

Bloom ferments are coming along slowly. The lower temps are slowing things down a little lately, but things are beginning to dissolve. I did add an early and mid-flower sweetener though (on the left).
It's an old recipe I used to use some years ago when I first got into fermenting. One apple. Preferably a fast decomposer like a yellow variety. Some red-ish breeds lack certain enzymes that aid in decomposition. They will still work, but are slower to process. Eight pitted Dates. 1/3 cup molasses. Take these ingredients and run them through a food processor until you reach a coarse mushy consistency. Add an equal amount of water and blend for 30 seconds. Dump the mix into a fermenting jar, seal and wait about two or three days before burping. After that, you'll need to burp every day for two to four weeks depending on temps etc. Once it's ready just strain the mush out and store in a glass container. About 1 tablespoon per gallon. Use at transitional and early flower to mid-flower.

Oooo.... Now you have me tasting dates. :laughtwo: You keep posting these fermentation jars. Sooner or later you'll inspire me to try one.

Great thing is you get to eat a lot of the ingredients. You can leave out the molasses, double the water and add Water Kefir grains for a fizzy beverage too!

You should try the apple. It's easy and works great.

Next time I get to the store I'll get some dates and an apple.

Plucking seeds from Black Cream while admiring the new arrivals last night. :)

SS strain mystery solved. So I asked him one more time earlier this week if SS might stand for Silver Surfer. This time he looks at me and says. "No that's Lemon Skunk." Which is what I was trying to get a clone of in the first place. Sheesh. 🤦

Sure looks like Lemon Skunk to me (same as last pic), which is what had me questioning things from the get go. Guess we'll find out eventually lol.

Happy Friday 420! :Namaste:

Sweet new seeds. Had me drolling. :laughtwo:

Just posted this on the eye candy thread. Figured I could do most of my raving about it here. :laughtwo:
Yep. Still a little wet, early sample. Hasn't stopped me from smoking it though lol. The is the F1 from the Scott's OG x Permafrost Med Cut that happened by accident a while back. I cut my first two last night with more coming, and a few trust worthy helpers from the collective are only a week or so behind me. In total there are 48 mature plants all showing amazing stability for an F1. Clones from the best three are nearly ready for the next step(s). If I ever get the time to go get them sheesh.:icon_roll Pursuing the dream of being a breeder isn't easy. :phew: Anyways, still a long ways to go, but this is definitely a good start. At this point the F1 has been dubbed Khione.

It's beautiful, and how exciting for you. The plants are well-taken care of? It's a tremendous undertaking, but you have that fire in you that can't be ignored any longer so stay with it tiger. :hugs::Love:

Well taken care of for the most part lol. There's five of us all together, but one is a father son team. Dad has the old timer skills and the kid is internet savvy and sharp. Between them there is 46 years of experience to go along with my 30 plus. Another has 20 plus and owns a grow supply store. He's the core of the collective and a good friend. Used to have a med shop before they shut them down here. The last has about 15-16 years, but he's non-net old skool too :laughtwo:

All in all, good hands and not the SS guy  I totally trust this team to select (and label lol) the proper clones etc. :)

It amazes me that out of all these plants there are only two apparent phenotypes, and then only 2 of the pheno #2's out of 48 showed up. The trouble is neither of us cloned pheno 2 :laughtwo: Pheno #1 is preferred, but I'd like to have #2 for grins. :) It's more Permafrost dominant.

Still so much to do. I'd like to back cross it and then try introducing some of the Sweet Seeds Red Family genes. I've been pulling some amazing grapiness out of those crosses that I think would blend very well with Khione. An auto version would be cool too.

Quick! Hand me another iron for the fire!

:circle-of-love:

OH and something you'll find humorous.. someone at a mycology forum thinks I am Scarfinger

Thank you AB :thanks:

Hey look! Another 'restore auto-saved content' post

So stoned, I've resorted to cut and paste from the

Trans Siberian x Dark Devil Selina Kyle. aka Cold Night in Hell.

Should have known better than to smoke it before trimming it. :laughtwo:

Making progress with Khione.

All organically grown with home ferments.

:Namaste:

I don't even bother with the trim anymore. Chop, wash, hang, smoke. Hahaha! God, I wish we were neighbors. I'd be at your place all the time. Lol! :hugs:

Around here it will take a couple of brownies just to make the trip from house to house. Neighbors are typically someone you sometimes see checking their mail about a quarter mile or more away. One wrong turn and you could be lost for days in the forest. :laughtwo: Just be sure to bring extra. :)

That's one of many things I love about the Khione. Very easy trim. Even I can't complain about it lol.
I also just made a trade of it for some really interesting genetics. Some Liver's Cut lineage along with some GDP and a bunch of other stuff. Should be a lot of fun.
A few baby Khione. Hard to say what their destiny is at the moment lol. I'll probably just keep them small and simple.

Testing some still nameless Red Poison x Vertigo now :passitleft: Very unique. Very potent omg. It certainly has the Vertigo swing. Time to get up and move before I can't :laughtwo:

Welcome little ones. :battingeyelashes:  May your future be adventurous. :laughtwo:

Vertigo sounds like the name of a strain that should have you want to be moving around for the experience. Lol! I love a wild ride on occassion, which, come to think of it, might be daily, given my proclivity to start my days with a DDA BioBomb brownie. :laughtwo:
