Put 1 GDP seed in shot glass with distilled water to begin germination and put in garage where temp is in 70's-80's and humidity high (temp/RH not taken).

Took GDP seed from shot glass and put in rockwool that had soaked in distilled water. Put in dome in tent where temp was 68 F and RH was 86%.

She will be going into soil once she has reached the right maturity. More details upon that time.

Checked seed in rockwool and no sign of germination (since 07/21/20 3:24 pm drop in shot glass). Moved to soil for another attempt. Reset germination start to date and time posted at top.

Due to constraints beyond my control, the plant will go to its final 7 gallon fabric pot once roots show through the peat pot.

*HVAC kept below plant ideal range. My wife likes the house cool and keeps the target temp at 63 F (kicks on when temp hits 65, cools to 63). Basement, where dome/tent are during evening ranges between 64 sand 68.

GDP#1 being stubborn; lossing hope each day at this point. Tried the shot glass/rockwool method and switched to soil after no activity. Bad seed perhaps, but I'll give it at least 14 days in soil.

However, walla, GDP sprouted between 6:00 pm and 8:12 pm on day 6 by going the straight soil route. She sprouted so fast within those two hours she was already a 1/4+ inch high in less than two hours in the dome, outdoors. I had just checked on the dome at 6:00 pm and saw nothing. Welcome to the world and garden little girl, with your bigger sisters Durban Poison and GSC#2.

She's doing ok dispite lighting being a bit overshadowed by the GSC next to her. The GSC will begin flowering in about another inch and share a tent with a Durban Poison Mother that has almost topped out tent height due to underestimating her growth rate. In the background is the Durban Poison Mother's top.

She went into flowing from being overshadowed I believe by the GSC, and previously the Durban Poison. The GSC was moved into the flower tent today so the problem is gone; the Durban Mother entered flowering a couple weeks ago. Just her and the Durban Poison Top in the veg tent now with light hanging about 22" above.
