Growing In The Pond & Keeping My Head Above Water

re: Growing In The Pond & Keeping My Head Above Water

Have you ever really thought about life?
The past and present. Screw the Future. There aint much you can do with parts of that although there are parts you can:)
I was looking at my hands today after washing some dishes. Seems what once was my Badge of Purpose, (or so what I think is) and proof of what it means to be a MAN have begun to rub off.
I worked very hard all my life I think and enjoyed, even celebrated my missing finger part and scars. Heck I'm Am or was a Carpenter.
Funny what a couple out if the norm things can change a life (I was going to spell out of the ordinary but don't think I know how:))
Tired but will be back sometime:circle-of-love:

Excerpt from the Diary of a Mad PotChimp ;)

The number pi goes on forever, never repeating itself. I walked past a TV show for a second and paused when a guy talked about it. If you switch a number or combination of numbers with letters, spaces, and punctuation marks, every book that has ever been written is in perfect order somewhere in that number. If you miss perfectly coding the book by one letter, the machine you are using that does one million calculations per second may get it in order when it comes up in the next 4 million years (or however long it takes). Everything that has ever been said in the entire history of mankind is there, letter for letter, word for word, space for space. Time and space are the same. We've all sat and wondered that. If you picture the universe as a ball, well what goes past the outside of that ball? It has to be space also, even if it's pure solid guano! :) And if you say that there was a first moment in the universe, then what happened before that? They are both infinite, so following the same logic, everything that could have happened within the realm of reality (not just the one we know) has happened. A race of people ten million years technologically advanced to us who figured out a way to perfectly build an exact replica of a supernova sized brain (I don't have a supernova sized brain, however so I had to look for the..... z key 2 oops 3 times now) and do a file transfer of the contents of every human (?) mind on the planet would be what I would consider a God. In only a hundred years or so we're already going to be controlling DNA enough to isolate the high IQ gene, so imagine how intense all the minds are going to be that get pooled into that thing. And yet I can conceive of this all in a spot in my mind too small to even detect. Look out at the stars man! :) See the sparkles? The universe is a giant gland on the end of a trichome and there's a starchimp waiting in the sky he's looking through his magnifier at us to see if we're cloudy yet but he don't need to worry China turned the pollution switch on high he'll be smoking soon we're gonna be one of the ambers so live for the moment!
I can't say I've made the best decisions in life, fish cake. And I'm speaking from a place where I don't have any immediate worries, even though my tomorrows are scary to no end. Horrid nightmare scary. So it may be easier in ways for me to say these things, but I am not going to allow a society, a job, another person's belief system, or anything else in this undefined mess define who I am. My strength is me; it has to be. And I hope wherever you are out there that things are well, and if not that you find your way through. I hope your strength is you.

:peace:

re: Growing In The Pond & Keeping My Head Above Water

Hey fish cake!
Just wanted to say again how much we miss your cheery presence here at 4:20. Spimp is back, and hearing from him made me think of you. The two of you gave me the inspiration to keep going when I was killing plants last year.
Thank you again and I hope life is treating you better.
:peace:

re: Growing In The Pond & Keeping My Head Above Water

I am gonna tie on my best fly, a Clouser minnow.

Wait till is gets real quiet

Now for the cast, picture perfect loops, good load on the rod and off for the release.

Nice cast, way out there.

Now wait a bit as the fast sinking line and fly gently sink towards the bottom.

strip, strip, strip...

come on fishy, fishy, fishy
