I was looking at my hands today after washing some dishes. Seems what once was my Badge of Purpose, (or so what I think is) and proof of what it means to be a MAN have begun to rub off.
I worked very hard all my life I think and enjoyed, even celebrated my missing finger part and scars. Heck I'm Am or was a Carpenter.
Funny what a couple out if the norm things can change a life (I was going to spell out of the ordinary but don't think I know how)
Tired but will be back sometime

I don't know if this will help you but it's something my Grandfather told me over 40 yrs ago when I was still just a snotty-nose kid. It didn't make much sense to me then but through-out my life it helped me make a lot of difficult decision;
"The quality of a man isn't measured by what he's accomplished in life as much as it is by the choices he makes when faced with adversity. Be particular about the choices you make and those that matter will always see you as a respectable person & you'll respect yourself."

It's one of the few lessons in life I got from him so many years ago.
