Growing A Legend: An Auto Tribute To Jack Herer

Ok, here's my JHa and NLa They both popped up yesterday evening somewhere between getting home from work and going to pick up the wife from work. I'm officially in the race

When you pull the roots out after they're done do you see any effect of the mesh from the peat puck? I have always pulled the mesh off the peat before I plant.

To be honest with you I haven't used enough of them to be able to give you an answer. I just buried the peat into the soil. So much of it is showing now because of compaction due to watering. I'll just add more soil in a few days.

Time to go pick up a couple g's of Purple Kush. This'll be a good evening for some; crappy day.

Well mine is up out of the dirt, still trying to break loose of the seed shell though. I dunno if I just check mine too frequently or what, but I'm always seeing them stuck in their shell haha

I have only had one plant hold onto its shell......just the Blue Dream I recently germinated. Its doing fine now though. Mine usually leave the shell in the soil on their way out, but I also plant a bit on the deeper side.

That image reminded me of the kid in Parenthood running around with the bucket on his head....

Yeah it happens quite often with mine, maybe if I planted deeper they would have more dirt to scratch the seed shell off on their way up. They usually bust loose in a couple of days, if not I gotta go in there carefully with a tweezer and spray bottle lol

Blew Hiller I've never actually seen that movie :o

If you like Steve Martin, you'll like it.

Bucket Head...love how he's enjoying the buzz of the impact!

Wow, reminds me of a raccoon I saw once with an ice cream container on stuck on its head. Ah, the wonders of civilization and nature. Or should I say civilization versus nature?

Oh sweet, I love Steve Martin! There's some old movie I use to see him in all the time, he use to talk to a billboard on the side of the highway. And The Jerk is good too.

I like Steve Martin. Bloody nuts.

I may do an emergency soilectomy in my pots tomorrow after work. I think the compost is too rich for the short life cycle of the autos. All of them are going to shit and I'll salvage the smaller ones anyway. Guy mentioned a learning curve in my other journal and I'll be damned if he wasn't right. The compost is great for outdoor growing but i'll leave it at that for now and see what happens.

More to come...
