Grow #2: Outdoor/CFL Auto 420 Blueberry & AK-47 Smart Pots With Dr Earth Soil

Nice! Not sure what they are but a dead bug is the best kind. Nice job shed. :high five:

Even though I had one worker showing up today I thought it was too sunny to leave the plants in the shed. So I did a bit of camouflage that I picked up from Scientific's patio thread.

Can you spot the cannabis?

Gotta get the sun when I can these days!

I have a spog question. My seedling is 25 days from sprout and I put her (I hope it's a her!) In a 1 gallon felt pot this past weekend.... now what? I'm thinking probably not top it? At what point do I flip to flowering? I'm thinking I can make it a hanging plant in my tent.
Thanks for the inspiration! I know she won't give a big yield but I'm pretty excited about this little mini project.

If you want mini with many sites then you will need to top and train like a bonsai. You can search the forums for bonsai and probably get a lot of ideas there. If you want that single point of green (SPOG®) then straight up and flip when she's the right size. Do you know how much this strain will stretch in early flower? That will make the difference to when you decide to flip if you want small.

Lol shed you have the lingo sticking already!!! Nice I love the cammo :)

Agemon runs a thread called the red cup we group grow in solo cups. Well i am no longer apart of the "we" since this round was photos ans my.bag seed was an auto. Next round are autos tho I think we should all give it a whirl

Well the sun came out this weekend and the workers are gone so all three plants got to enjoy some natural daylight. I sprayed the young'uns with diatomaceous earth mixed in water so that accounts for the white spots.

LST continues as the curves get curvier and the fans get tuckier.

Here is Blue 4 on day 37:

Here is AK 7 on day 35, working counter clockwise:

I don't have any expectations of getting the same amounts off of these as I did on my first grow as there's a huge difference between T8s and the sun in June and July. Even so, I'm happy with the way the plants are responding to the training!

Here is the every-frosty SPOG, AK 4 on day 74. I gave it 32 ounces of the same as last time:

And here are a load of bug carcasses! Some are still alive, but I'll get them tomorrow:

Ok ok ok...gotcha!!! Wash buds....putting on list! Lol. Thanks bro! Good morning shed! Looking good, these plants are quite flexible I'm realizing.

Nice.....I saw that & almost did it my first grow! But I thought the FABRIC pots were a dead give away. I've never seen anything like them around here. Except for growing cannabis I mean! Def looks real from here though. My favorite color! Nice job! Still not getting your notifications. Lol. Errrrr.....great day bro!

I'll look up bonsai - that would be cute
She's said to be Lemon Kush but it's a bag seed I'm always a little skeptical. I haven't researched the strain but that's a really good idea

Have you ever tried an insecticidal soap like Safers before? You spray the plant down and wait about 15-20 minutes, then you can rise heavy and the bugs wash away. Takes acouplle washes but it leaves plants nice and clean with no oil buildup. I almost always keep a bottle of it. It works on spider mites too.. GL and Keepem Green

I used to use Safer for the white flies in my citrus trees but home depot stopped carrying it. I went with Dawn and water for a while, but the white flies moved on and I stopped spraying anything until I started growing cannabis.

I feel like given the different types of bugs and caterpillars I have these days I don't think that soap is going to do the job and the Dr Earth is ok in a pinch but expensive. So I went with neem, then I switched to DE, BT, and I just got Spinosad for flowering. I'm going to mix that in the hudson sprayer and use it on the citrus trees as well since they've got a lot of leaf miner action going on.

Tuesday and the sun is out and the geranium flowers have been thrown away. The bottom of Blue 4's pot is still damp but AK 7 is dry, so I'll split the difference and give them both water tomorrow. I think I'll water to runoff for the first time in a long time.

Here they are...

AK 7 on day 37, and if I remember from the last grow, the AK does most of its growing in stretch:

Great top shot there of the spog!
Show those nibblers who's boss shed!

Wednesday update...Blue 4 day 40, AK 7 day 38, and AK 4 day 77.

Didn't have time for many pics this morning as it was watering day.

AK 4 got 64 oz of:
Cal/Mag+, 3ml/gal
Open Sesame, ½ tsp/gal
Tiger Bloom, 2 tsp/gal

The younger ones got 64 oz each of:
Cal/Mag+, 3ml/gal
Big Bloom, 4 tbs/gal
Grow Big, 2 tsp/gal
Great White, ½ tsp/gal

I added two 6500K 100WEQ (watt equivalent) bulbs to the young ones and they are ok sharing for now. SPOG® has two 2700K 100WEQ on it. All in addition to the 64W T8s. Here are some shots in the shed:

They're back out in the sun for the rest of the day. With the time change, most of the dark time they get is outside before I get home from work. I'm trying to maintain a 20/4 schedule to try to maximize the veg since they had a rough start.

Okay that is a fantastic idea of putting flowers with your plants. I wonder if I buy some fake flowers if I could try that for next year. hmmm, fake tomatoes, fake turkeys, the fake money growing on tree's. Hmmm what can I get away with now, my imagination is running wild.

Saw the bugs, that was a very up close pic. Amazing how you got them all. Nice try bugs! Quit buggin ITS okay!

Your girl looked happy out in the sun. Honestly, at quick glance I couldn't spot your "mini bush" as being cannabis right away. It almost looked like an untamed bonsai, if there is such a thing. Great job.

I missed you tons, and look forward to your humour again. :thanks:

Thursday update! Many trichome pics!

Blue 4 day 41. Upward (sideways?) growth of the main stem is slowing down but the side branches are reaching up so I'm sticking with grow nutes for a while:

AK 7 on day 39:

There are pistils on both (as to be expected at this age) but only on the main branch.

Here is SPOG® on day 78. I'm seeing a few ambers in spots so I don't think this will go much beyond 90 days. Some of that will depend on whether the sun is out for the next two weeks! Trichome pr0n ->->->
