Screwnuts, We are all looking forward to your new grow and we all hope you share it with us so we can enjoy the adventure as well. I'm looking forward to seeing your next batch of pics!

Re: Ground zero newbie grower.

hey Screws, glad "WE" got the Romex thing figured out LOL. One question: You have a lot of seeds germinating + eventually goin to 5 gal pots and then all goin in a 4' x 8' tent...sounds like it's gonna get a bit crowded? :peace: peace n good luck MF
It will get a little crowded. I am counting on a few not making it and also there will no doubt be a few dudes trying to make time with the ladies. My hope is to take 12 plants to completion. I may be in big trouble if they all make it and are all females. My luck is not that good. lol.

We all wish you "bad luck" and that they are all "girls" LOL!

Holy cow, not what I was expecting at all, that is some project and you have done a wonderful job. Can not wait to see some big, thick, sticky buds growing in there. Again great job..

Update on the kids. 13 or 20 have now broken the surface. Not too bad for 48 hrs in the dirt.

Re: Ground zero newbie grower.

Looks like you are going to be busy for the next few months, Great job and can not wait to see those babies all grown up...

Re: Ground zero newbie grower.

Did my daily check on the kids. 17 of 20 have broken through so far. Most look great. A couple look a little week. I had a few seeds that looked pretty small so I was suspect they might be trouble plants. Hopefully they perk up now that they are in direct light. Feeling pretty good so far about the number that have come up.

I have come up with a plan to make a second frame inside the tent. Basically I will be able to mount the T5's for side lighting and be able to slide them back and forth for complete coverage. Pics will be coming as soon as my parts arrive.

Re: Ground zero newbie grower.

I lost one of the Purplee force seedlings. It was one of my week looking sprouts. RIP. I have one Alaskan Ice and two Afgan A-10's that did not come up. Enough of the bad news. The good news is the 16 seedlings I have look very good and healthy. I was getting a little stretch on some so I dropped my light down. T5 is now about 5" above the seedlings. Will post some photos tomorrow evening.
