Grngirl's Hydro PC case grow... My first time!

Oh no!! I tied the plant down today (still no sex I think) and the leaves are still yellowing! plus a few dying branches and leaves here and there. Have I killed it?! I looked into the yellowing of the leaves and I think it may be an over feeding problem so I washed out the bucket and made sure to be very careful when I measured the nutes out. (I read on here that Africian Violet food is a good mix for flowering and that is what I'm currently using btw)

I unplugged the bubbler a few days ago because it was kind of noisy and I have to up my stealth for a little while. Could that have anything to do with my problem? I'll post some pics when I get home from work.

looking good to bad your not in Canada cause I have plenty of cough seeds left and possibly 2000 of purple haze, northern lights and skunk mixes coming soon

The bubbler being unplugged is the problem. Your water is idle no oxygen is being produced for your plants roots! But I also understand having to go into double top seceret mode.... good luck the last pic looks good!

I'm really worried that I killed my plant! or damangede it beyond repair. The bubbler is plugged back in. I have it set on the timer with the lights so that it only runs at night. I have a strict 'don't ask don't tell' policy with my roomates and I want to keep them from catching on. This is what it looked like two days ago:

that was the day I plugged the bubbler back in. Today it looks like this:

I trimmed the branches off that were beyond help. I'm really starting to consider transplanting outdoors. We have a lot of land and are surrounded by farm land so I might be safer growing outside. Have I ruined the plant?! I feel like such a dummy :(

You only run the bubbler at night?

What have you been feeding it?

Are the roots still very light in color or have they gone dark?

I'm currently only running it at night

I'm feeding it an Africian Violet formula for bluming plants. It's an 8-14-19 liquid nutrients concentrate. I read on here somewhere that this food can be used during the budding cycle and thought I'd try it because it's a lot easier to mix that the solution I bought online.

The roots have def. turned a little more amber than the white they were before. I only noticed that today. How bad is it?

well, I tucked my tail between my legs, transplanted the plant outside, and am hoping for the best. I learned so much with my little hydro case! I am going to wait until I live on my own again to use it next. I would like to continue with the journal, but should I keep posting here or start a new journal in the outdoor growing forum? I hate to see this go into the abandoned section, but since I started another plant from my last seed (who knew the last one would sprout!) maybe I should start the other journal from the beginning with the transplant and the new plant? I'm leaving it up to you moderators :)

sorry for the rambling, I spent my sunday happy as a clam with some cold beer and the very last of my bud!

I'm going to try an outdoor grow this time :) be on the lookout for a new and hopefully more succesful journal!

Hey great journal! Outdoors is the way to go if you are dedicated and can stay focused for months! Whole different set of problems pop up with entirely different solutions. But in the end you can't compete with mother nature with your lights and nutes.

Keep up posted!
