GrizzWalds - Aussie Indoor/Outdoor - Choose Your Own Adventure

Had to throwin a comment...late I know...about pets and skunks. Scrub them with dirt...good ol' dirt. Most dogs will love it. If it aint all gone, white vinegar and more dirt. I know skunks...Ive owned skunks...they arent french..they arent snuggly. they are pretty cute, in a nasty bitchy sort of way.

That fence tree...AMAZING :jawdropper::jawdropper::jawdropper:

Hey mouser, welcome man.... Thanks man, fence is old, hope it's still standing once she comes down, lol...... Ah skunks, the smell that just keeps giving in this here journal...funny thing is, I'm not even growing skunk, lol...

Heirloom, you've entered, don't know If I can compete against you...
Dennise :passitleft: I might be waiting for that sunset, weather is horrid here and getting worse....

Good evening Grizz,
My little plant isn't going to get it done, I was just breaking the ice with her. There are WAY nicer plants already up there than mine. To be perfectly honest, Riflemans reversed and selfed Dark Devil is currently at the top of my list. A plant is a plant, but a self pregnant plant is something special, IMHO.

I suffer from the same affliction you do. No real pics that were taken for a contest. I never went about my photos with the idea of entering. I will be changing that this year. I have some indoor plants on day 25 of flower, and the fruit punch has just about the most perfect structure I've ever seen. Can't wait for it to bulk up. Should be photo worthy, lol.

I say enter it. I submitted knowing there was a good chance you might enter. My ego isn't tied to contest results.

Well it's all over for the big girl... She's over taken my house.. I couldn't leave any longer, this weather is bud rot heaven and I'm not into losing her.... Pics of the mess to come...

She's over taken my house.. Almost 11:30 now and I'm knackered.. here's some pics.. Got some work to do, when I have the time.. I'll do one/two branches a night and hopefully get it done before she dries, just makes it easier... First pic, I had earlier tonight harvested another heap of colas, they are hanging behind these three branches, in my robe...

Some hanging on clothes horse.. See I got a few trimmed, lol
image36713.jpg

Spare toilet seemed like a good spot, clean and never used, hang the branches in the fan, lol...
image36712.jpg

Outta the manhole, over the top of those colas I took Friday ( still a couple days off dry)
image36711.jpg

This is where it gets dodgey... These are in spare bedroom, I didn't want any in here, even though it's the perfect spot, it's my indoor grow room..

image36715.jpg

Roots coming outta lower broken branch... This is a good thing and something that should be used/done....
image36717.jpg

And a little size reference to one of the secondary buds, next best to main colas...
image36716.jpg

And there's life to go again next year...

A whole house full of drying bud. It must smell amazing if you leave and come back home after a few hours.

Congrats on the harvest.

Mate the stench is full on right now, that heavy fresh smell.. It'll knock me over once I leave and come back,lol... The buds look great too, tricks are 90 cloudy 9% clear 1% amber... geez I'm looking forward to smoking some of this, I love it, just something about the taste of a garden grow, sunshine and fresh air....

Shiggs, man I hung dried my plants for well over 10 years.. Used to think that had to pull roots and plastic bag it upside down for few days, oh that was after have put a nail through the stem couple days before harvest, lol. Then wait till it dried on branches before taking a leaf off.. Man it takes forever to trim a dry plant, lol, and this dude here hates trimming, I'd happily give somebody 4-5 ounces to do this plant for me.. ill try to get as much off while wet also can, but I know half will be dry trimmed, lol....oh, thanks man...
Dennise, happily give you some, no need to be jeAlous around here :passitleft:
hey,I love cookie stoned but hate the cannabis taste..anybody know recipes that don't have the taste.. Must be a spice or nut to mix with it to create a better taste. I think it's more savoury than sweet, maybe some crushed cashew paste and sesame oil... I don't know....

Hey Grizz!

Hate the cannabis taste also and have not really got a sweet tooth. Last week I made some canna buffalo wings and the taste was there but barely discernible ( taste buds probably blasted to hell by the serious chilli content) and it worked a treat to get us stoned. This Friday I am going to experiment with hot chocolate.

On the pot taste, making cannabutter first really cuts down on the harsh taste. But even with the cannabutter it can be strong for some.
Peanut butter and chocolate do a pretty good job of masking it, I've found.

Here's a post I found on a thread under edibles:

Look for recipes with strong flavors. Sugar cookies are awesome, but only have a mild buttery taste. Cocoa powder, almond extract, lemon/orange zest, double strength bourbon vanilla; these are some flavor masks to work with.

Thanks Canna... Makes me wonder how big I can get generation3... I might have to swap these beans down the market with Jack..I don't need another plant this big, too much work, lol.... Yeah I make canna butter first, just not into taste but love the effect...

Bapple, I was in your thread the other day, looks great. I wanted to sub once I had time to read it, I'll be there soon... Thanks.....

Thanks Feral... Yeah man, I said earlier in this journal, maybe cajuncelts, that this girl was going to be big , I think it was in December when she was only 2' tall.. Mate, had the weather been better I would have left longer but looking at these buds, I think it was a blessing in disguise....
