A watched pot never boils they say @roaring lion lol.
I will be harvesting the Purple Kush tomorrow. It was on 11 weeks of flower as of the 8th of October. They will be almost 12 weeks from switching to 12/12. Long time for an Indica. The triches have only started to show a little amber. Should be interesting to try this batch since I have always harvested this strain at week 9-10. It's still got white pistols as well but the pheno is so prone to fox tailing I suppose that's contributing to the extra pistols.
I decided to do things the "new" way or at least it seems new to me. I did a really good flush about 2 weeks ago and have fed full strength ever since. I pushed the Terpenoid booster over the last 2 weeks as well to enhance flavour and aroma. Will see if the stuff works or not I guess.
Since last night would be the last time I water or feed till harvest on Saturday I decided to water with ph'ed water and used about 2 times the pots volume just to do a final mini flush I suppose you could say. I added a little Terpenoid booster but that was all. The lights have been unplugged as of this morning so they will be in complete darkness for the next 40 - 48 hours depending on when I get a chance to get the chainsaw out and get at it.
Stay tuned for the massacre.
Well it was a busy day. The Trainwreck was dry enough for curing so we jarred that. One ounce per jar.
Ended up with 265 grams dry of Trainwreck. My goal was to get over 200 so I was pleased.
The Purple Kush is definatly going to out weigh the Trainwreck. The Purple Kush doesn't grow as tight though. Even with giving it almost 13 weeks it still had white pistols and just a tiny bit of amber. Strange pheno. I'm doing 3 of them on this grow that is in veg and that will be the last time for that pheno.
Hello everyone. Back with a few updates.
So my total dry harvest weight from the 4 plants under 630 watts was 733 grams. It's all curing now.
The clones are still vegging. I might switch them into flower this weekend if I get a chance to cut some clones one of these evenings through the week. I don't like to cut clones and switch to flower within the same couple days. I like the plants to have recovery time after cutting their arms and legs off before they get put into flower lol.
I popped some new genetics last week to incorporate into my next grow. I soaked two Bubba Kush seeds, and three Hash Plant seeds. Three of them popped right up but one of the Bubba Kush didn't open. I scored the seed husk a little and put it back into a glass of water last night. Will see if it's open when I get home this evening. The third Hash plant seed was late popping up so I took a gentle peek. The seed popped but it looks like the root is having trouble. I didn't disturb the root or look at it but there is green plant material exposed at the surface now but seems stunted. Oh well... If it pops it pops. I really only need one of each strain to clone an army anyways lol. I was just popping extras to do a little pheno hunting within what I had left for seeds. I will probably run 4 Trainwreck, 2 Bubba Kush, and 2 Hash Plant next grow if things work out. Worst case scenario I run the 3 new plants I have with 5 Trainwreck and clone more for next time.
Hey Green liz,
Nice harvest weight. Most I have done is 900g from the 630w in the tent, so pack em in and cant wait for the next run.
Upwards and onwards!
Your buds look delicious...

Day 9 of 12/12.
Seems that stretch is in full swing now.
The new clones had some roots popping out of the Jiffy on day 7 after being cut. I think that's a new personal best lol.
You have a really nice system going, I’d be afraid to change anything lol. Looks great. Maybe build 1 cob fixture and do a comparison. If you deem it better, build 2.
Day 24 of 12/12. Just ran straight water last watering to get the rest of the veg nutes eaten up. I followed that up today with a full feed of flower nutes. I should have given flower nutes a few days earlier but I like trying things out.
I had each plant out today for a mild haircut and the last adjustment on the training ties to spread out the branches a little more.
They seem to have bounced back already.
Day 29
Trainwreck is frosting up nice. I just fed full bloom nutes with CM, and terpinoidbooster.
We had a snow storm here yesterday so we had no power for a night. Didn't cut in on the light cycle too bad.

Thanks Fudo Myoo. I did some work last night that I should have some photos of tonight when I get home from work. I have been having a little bit of a deficiency lately so I upped the feeding dose last night.
The trainwreck has been fattening up nice. The Purple kush still has white pistols as usual. It was a long runner last grow so it will be again.
The clones were topped late in their grow as to keep them manageable in size under the T5's until they can go into the flower tent.
Today is day 62 of 12/12. By the looks of my Trainwreck it will be ready for harvest next weekend. The purple kush will fall a week later since it always goes a little longer. My Purple Kush's leaves all cured and crisped up but I just kept pushing them. Bud development looks good. It's just the leaves. I flushed 5x the pots volume last night for all the plants as a pre harvest flush. I followed up with a full feeding and will continue to feed until right before chop. I like my last feeding to be just plain water before chop. I'll get a couple photos when I get home.
Day 74 of 12/12.
Yesterday I harvested the purple kush. This was earlier than last time but I just wanted to see what the high would be like. Now this upcoming weekend I will harvest the Trainwreck.
The clones are ready to go into the tent under the CMH for a couple more weeks of veg before flip once I get it emptied out.
I found the Purple kush really couldn't handle the nutes compared to the trainwreck. I had a lot of crispy leaves on those plants but I pushed the nutes hard this grow.
Here are a few post harvest shots from last night.
So this past weekend we finished the harvest.
Our Trainwreck came out nice. Buds seem fat and dense so it should have a good dry weight.
The purple kush that we harvested last weekend has been jarred for the cure now also.
