Green Crack & White Cookies: Mainlining Under A Sunplix CMH

I have a 315w LEC air cooled made by sunsystem, I run a 4k bulb and my hps in my flower room I rotate plants around room so they get hit with both spectrum, but so far I love the growth and the tight nodes and the frosty colas, I am worried about hot months but I also have LED so I can always switch around lights, let me know your thoughts?

I guess it all depends on the wattage of LED and HPS. If you are talking about heat, you have to remember a LED watt is the same as a HPS as far as the BTUs produced. The LED lacks the IR which will cut down on some heat, but a lot of early LED companies feeding people a pile of BS about them producing no heat is pure fallacy, you can't escape the laws of physics.

What are you working with? You may not be able to mention the brand of LED but you can tell us its wattage and light coverage.

Looking nice and green!! what kind of temps you have in there with that light? and what's temps outside? interested to know in home enviroment :P

My home is old and my tent is in the basement, so i use an oil filled heater during the night cycle to keep the temps up and and the humidity from spiking. I also have to adjust my fan speed from medium at lights on to full speed at lights off to achieve this.

lights on temp: 78 F
lights on RH: 70%

Lights off temp: 70 F
Light off RH: 75%

Current outside temp: 59 F day time / 41 F expected night time / spring thaw conditions

I will add a dehumidifier for the last 3-4 weeks of flowering and drop the night time temps.

subbing in... better late than never, interested in mainlining my grow so would love to see how these turn out!

Welcome to the show! I am not that i would call this a text main line though, the structure is main line but i let the side branching come in once i was done training and grow with a trellis instead of tomato cages. In the future i might try this again with a more suitable strain that grows in a single cola with little side branching, definitely more for this style of growing.

Cool vid and yea that is definitely a mag issue.. looks like you caught it right as it started to get noticeable so it shouldn't hurt anything. Crazy how the corners of the tent are so void of light.. was really interesting when you moved the par meter even just a few inches it doubled the par values. Shows the footprint of your light is probably better with a 3x3 area and not a 4x4 area. Looks great though, excited to see the buds on that green crack!

Looking good. Interested to see how this mainlining works.. Would this be classed as hst? I always worry about pruning to much off but after seeing this I feel a lot more relaxed, they look healthy! How long did you veg for?

I would consider this high stress yes, it slows growth down a lot. The beans were not popped at the same time, but staggered over 2 weeks. I would say it ranges from 5-7 weeks for veg time, not including the 2 weeks of seedling time.

Yeah I can imagine recovery time is pig, I lst a lot and sometimes even that can take a while to see the normal rate of growth return, defo subbed for sure. i too have 5 in the same arrangement as yourself with regards to 5 plants in scrog but very different gardens. but thinking maybe I should have been more vigilant in pruning. Also noticed all the food.. I'm quite basic with my nutes, bit of bloom n boost but have always toyed with going all out like yourself so looking forward to the show. Peace

Are you running 4k or 3k bulbs? I am looking into a 3k deep red made by grower choice, I think it's best for seed to harvest
