Great photos Graytail! That DCPurple looks like it could be a stunner when it's done.
Keep an eye on @dynamo1 , too. He's playing with the same Carnival x DarkDevilAuto genetics.

It's an upside down world!
He was but I have no idea where he got it from.I'm confused I thought Robert Heinlein was originator of "grok" in Stranger in a Strange Land, a favorite read back when. Did he get it from oriental culture?
I have problems at times of the year with clones and seedlings as well. Bagging them up ala Toast's cloning method, fixes that issue, which makes me think it's about the humidity level.Do you put a heat mat under your seedlings? I seem to have trouble popping seeds this time of year as well, I don't know why because the grow room stays fairly consistent except for humidity, maybe that's it?

I've gotten a couple of seeds to pop in soil without bagging them recently, but I was misting the soil in the pot daily to keep the topsoil from drying out. I also made sure that they had germinated and had tails showing before I put them in soil. That way they only needed 2-3 days to come up.
Seeds and seedlings like fairly moist environments, which we lack this time of the year in the Midwest.
I soak mine in water until they pop a tail before putting them in soil, because of the issues I have with the soil drying out. Bagging it fixes the dryness problem, but I don't like having to check them in the bags for days on end. If they have tails, they'll be above ground in 3 days or less. When I don't bag them, they tend to dry out and die, if they aren't above ground in the first couple of days.I know it's not for everyone but wanted to mention that I've been putting seeds direct in Doc's soil and most are coming up in 2-3 days!
Plants are looking great Gray! Looking forward to your Star Pupil!

No worriez 119....i have more SP.....can always see u get more!Yep, I’m doing the soak over night and then paper towel until it cracks thing. This is the first time the soil ate two seeds in a row, second run soil... so giving Duggs method a go. That’s a bummer too I only had 3 star pupil seeds so if this one doesn’t make it, guess I’m SOL!
I grok
Aww, thanks Duggs... appreciate that sirNo worriez 119....i have more SP.....can always see u get more!
I tried Docs tech this time....filled 1 gal pots with 1st run soil, dunked and top poured H2O, till fully saturated, topped off with more saturated soil, roots powder in hole, plant seed, place on heat mat.
