Graytail's 4th Perpetual: 4x4 Samsung Panels

That's a good point. I haven't grown a seed from the changed plants, only clones. So it may be purely environmental after all.

I did see that movie! Ack! o_O All from those 32oz drinks! Amazing what it did to his metabolism. 6000+ calories a day!?

I can't remember what breeder I was watching, but they said something that really stuck with me. He said a plant will never have more potential than it does a seedling. Its up to the grower to maximize the potential....the grower starts with a 100% possibility. But every mistake he or she makes during that growing process can only hurt that plant. A plant can only process so much light in a day and it can only process so much in terms of nutrients.....feed it too much or too little and you lose potential, feed it perfectly and you are simply maximizing the plants potential. Same thing with light, temps, RH, or any other factor. So you can take ten cuts off a plant and give it to 10 different growers and you can get 10 drastically different results based on where they ended up on the 100% scale.

Really made sense to me......makes me think a lot of variation exists out there. Hell look at the kit....designed to take a lot of the variables out of the equation so there is less chance of messing up. Great way for a grower to maximize the genetic potential of a plant/strain. Then its just RH, Temps, Lighting and pests.

I'm a cigarette smoker, so I have to put up with a lot of self-important abuse from others around me. :p

So in that spirit, here are some fun facts.

There are about 500,000 deaths/yr in America directly attributable to smoking.

Fast Facts

There are about 100,000 - 400,000 directly attributable to diabetes. This exceeds health care costs associated with smoking and accounts for 6% to 12% of national health care expenditures in the United States.

Diabetes

About 15% of Americans smoke.

About 33% of Americans are obese.

Obesity in the United States - Wikipedia

And obesity is contagious.

We Should Consider Obesity as a Kind of Contagious Disease, Study Shows

But I've gotten used to people feeling all important n stuff because I smoke the cigarettes and they don't. :cheesygrinsmiley: I'm an imperfect person, unlike so many folks around me.

Oh ... and I'm skinny. :bongrip:

I believe the same. We can cause genetic damage to that first plant from seed, which is rarely a good thing, and all future generations will keep the damage. I also try to remember the weak link analogy. It doesn't matter how well you manage one factor if there's one still unattended to. Weak link first.

Yep...we called them constraints. Find the constraint in your system and improve that. Then re-evaluate your system. That constraint may and will eventually move to another part of your system, eventually. Might take a while if one area is just really really bad off....but eventually it will shift.

I like to say.....All improvements are changes.....but not all changes are improvements.

You can't get better if you aren't willing to change, but it ain't always easy to figure out what to change or what what change it to.....gotta know those two things before you figure out how to change it. Kind of funny how sequence matters huh.

The Number of different areas to Understand is NEVER ENDING quest.

Just off the top of my head the following MAIN areas below have a staggering amount
of Sub-Categorizes that can be dug down even deeper with more sub-categories

soil
nutrients
light
water
air
Electricity
Pest
Biology

I should point out Using Docs Kit I dont need to know Jack :yummy:

Lots of things with change your genetic expression, diet work stress. nutrigenomics.

This is the best part of the Kit as far as I'm concerned! :yahoo::slide:

I don' need to know Jack! :p:high-five:

Y Griega is dried and jarred and yielded 121 grams, 4.27 ounces over 217 days = 0.513 grams per day. Not too bad for a plant that went almost 15 weeks in bloom. :cheesygrinsmiley:

I'm kinda proud of this one so I took lotsa pictures. :laughtwo:

Here's comes a dump ...

It's potent and frosty - delicious! :bongrip:

.

But do you know jack? I believe you do. I see you in the same room, was who I didn't recognize....just a hunch  looking good man :passitleft:
