Graytail's 3rd: 4x4, HiBrix, Latest LED Tech, Lots Of Light!

:biglaugh:

I dunno what to say..

Luck.

Everyday, everyone, everywhere. Yes. Luck.

You can follow directions and still be unlucky. Its life. Shit doesnt ALWAYS go as planned.

(really should be keeping my mouth shut. Making alot of friends i am)

A little luck helps.
Proper environment is king though. A growers skill is a big part but without a stable environment, ample co2, plenty of light, and a solid watering/feed schedule a grower is limited. Graytail is obviously dialed in and it's getting better. I don't even know why I am saying this as I know GT is aware of this.

Plants look beautiful Graytail

I don't think anyone here will take any offense DankWolf. Graytail knows as much as any cultivator here how capricious life can be.

Luck is a fun subject, isn't it? I tend to react to the word, too, preferring fortunate, but that's often too many syllables. :laughtwo:

Luck could actually be the subject of an entire course in Philosophy or Sociology or probably any of the human sciences. It affects every day of our lives and seriously messes with trying to predict the future in any endeavor. Let me, as an old man without grandchildren to pass his knowledge down to, make a couple observations about Luck and how I've learned to deal with it.

1. The luckiest people are those who are in a position to take advantage of Luck when it comes along. If your life is unstable and unpredictable already, it's hard to get lucky. Luck happens every day - most of us just aren't ready for it at the time.

2. There's good luck and bad luck. You'll do better if you treat your life and goals in a ratchet fashion. Fight like hell to keep from losing ground when the bad luck hits, and just ride the good luck - simply try to be stable and available for it - it'll come. That's sorta backwards from the common wisdom. It's not that we have to try so very hard to get ahead - we should try hardest not to lose ground. I don't mind so much not being a winner, but I can't abide losing. :cheesygrinsmiley:

love your plants GT

they can easily make a grower jealous, but in a good way.

keep fighting the good fight

I've been reading back through the last few pages and it seemed like a good time to remind my readers that what you're seeing is the result of Doc Bud's HiBrix Blend. :bravo:

I loves me some sweet compliments, and it's true that I've been cultivating indoor plants for decades, but the biggest value of my journals is to show what will happen if you use the Kit and follow directions. I was recently asked advice about deviating from the standard schedule, and I realized that I really don't know. I don't deviate from the standard schedule, even after all this time. :laughtwo: So, what you're seeing is what happens when you use the Kit and follow directions. I'm not doing anything tricky or special or different from what the directions call for. Anyone can do it. Period.

Of course, ahem, environment is important, as well as genetics. In fact, genetics matter a LOT. I did quite well with my Jamaican Dreams using the Kit in my first journal, and that was with CFLs for veg and a 600W hps for bloom. A good strain, enough light, and the Kit, is all you need.

:Namaste:

I have a couple glamour shots of the latest Tikal ...
