Graytail's 3rd: 4x4, HiBrix, Latest LED Tech, Lots Of Light!

Congrats on the chop and nice update Gray.

Another Graytail EPIC update! :cheertwo:

Drop few words about Tikal when you get to it :tokin:

Oh man everything looks beautiful. Im glad you like the tikal. I can't stop smoking mine. I gotta remind myself i have other strains. Something about that strain agrees with me very much. I got 4 out a 6 seeds up, looking for one of the stawberry or peach phenos. That haze pheno got almost too big but 9 zips was worth the wait and work. Good job Graytail...reps.

Just checking in Gray, congrats on the Tikal, it looks great! Where did you get the seeds? The Buddha Haze X Destroyer looks awesome, and your younger plants are all looking healthy and ready to go. I am getting ready to start an indoor DWC grow of some Nirvana Lemon OG Haze Autos and some Jock Horror Autos, think I have finally got the feel for indoor hydro growing. I just finished a small outdoor Blue Mystic grow. As an experiment, I have started an outdoor Bubbelicious Auto grow (it is around 14 days in to it). Since it doesn't get consistently cold in this part of Texas until around December, I am hoping the plant will be in heavy flowering and will turn a nice deep purple due to the lower temps.

Smart idea. That should pan out quite well. I spent 5 years in West Texas during the college years. My birthday is Dec. 8 and the first year I was there we did a picnic in the surrounding hills and I was wearing tiny cut-offs and a tank top that day. I was raised in the seasonal changes of PA. That was one of my strangest memories. I'll have to check in on you and watch that color come in. Love those purple strains.

Are you going to do a journal, Bangabong? I'd like to see how your Bubblicious turns out. I had one weird one a few months ago that I scrapped.

Thanks everyone! :thanks:

I finally got BHxDestroyer chopped and trimmed and she's drying as we speak. These were really nice buds! I wish I could have run it a couple weeks longer because it was into a very nice new calyx surge, but the PM was getting to be irritating and I needed the room, so ... :cheesygrinsmiley: But whew, these are some meaty shanks! :thedoubletake: The best buds I've grown yet. So, yeah, a lotta LEDs are a good thing. :laughtwo:

I can't wait to snap off some of those fresh foxtails full of crystal coated calyxes when they're duly dried and jarred. :yahoo:

Ooooo.... Crispy and frosty foxtails. My favorite. Think I'll have a couple now, since you got me all excited Graytail. :battingeyelashes:

So, more LEDs are a good thing? This from the man who reined in my impulse to buy "just one more"? I see. The advantage stays with the Master. :laughtwo:

It actually turned out to be excellent advice, since the money was needed elsewhere, so, Thank you

Reps on those monster colas. Best you ever grew deserves that hammer.

Congrats on the BH X Destroyer Gray.

Top of the day to ya Gray....nice lil chop with the BH X Des. Have you ever thought of doing a pure Haze pal? Flying Dutchman used to have a pure, pure haze. Always wanted to try it but ....ya eh, over 20 weeks in bloom!!...no thanks, can't do it, at least not right now. That Desfran disaster has me worried for pure Sat's. now. What if ya grew it out and it sucked, i'de loose my freekin mind. Anyhow have a super night bud, cheers eh!

Purple Haze is one of those. :cheesygrinsmiley: It's a pheno of Old Timers Haze, which is a pheno of Original Haze.

I'm not all that fond of growing the pure sativas - I grow them for the quality and character of the high. I MUCH prefer hybrids. :laughtwo: I'm eager to see how the other Carnival grows turn out. If the highs are the same, it's a perfect plant for sativa lovers.

from ACE seeds site..
Purple Haze

At last, the mythical tropical Purple Haze of the 70’s without being mixed and in all its magnificence is finally available for all those nostalgic lovers of the old school sativas.

In this version of the Oldtimers Haze, we offer you a selection of purple and reddish phenotypes with a strong influence of the purple highland colombian sativas, within the genotype of the original Haze population.

Purple Haze is different from Green Haze because its stems and flowers ripe with impressive purple and reddish colors. Its aromas are also darker: of black liquor and wild blackberry.

:)

GT..As you know..You may get different phenos than expected ;), and because its also in Docs HB soil

Purple haze is in my brain :theband::biglaugh::blunt:

I'm really enjoying this journal. Good luck with that purple haze. That is a crazy long flowering period. I can't wait to see how it turns out.
