Graytail's 3rd: 4x4, HiBrix, Latest LED Tech, Lots Of Light!

Too bad I can't just mail off a couple. :laughtwo:

Ya, when do they invent that teleporter thing? Heheh, how 'bout a 3D bud printer and I'll jus' send y'all the file. :blunt:

:laughtwo: Imagine Graytail running an indica!

Ya, I just had to see what all the fuss was about and decided I wanted to try a hashy strain, and when I looked at Cannabiogen's Taskenti I had to have it. Uzbecki Hash plant? LOL. :laughtwo: Sign me up! Didja see the purple in it? It's gonna have color, too! :slide

You're going to have fun! I know you've been checking out my Cannabiogen Paki Chitrals (landrace Indica). So many pretty colors in one pheno - problem is the pesky trich coverage is burying them. Smells like freeze-dried strawberries. The two keeper Chirtal phenos were sprouted outside in mid-July so went straight into flower when they hit sexual maturity.

You sure do grow some purdy ones, PeeJay, in your own magic soil. I want plants with perfect leaves, too! *mutter*

I've been watching the Citrals and the Afghans from other growers, and the color is beguiling. :slide:

Too bad about all the pesky trichs on yours ... :laughtwo: It gives 'em a sort of metallic amethyst sheen ... must be especially pretty in sunlight.

If you get purple pheno of this strain, and this one is famous in Europe, plant really starts looking like a candy :tokin:

It's not magic Gray, it's PJ's research and understanding of our beloved plant. He's willing to share it for free.

Got that right. 'Was reading some things of his this morning and it's still so far over my head the information and my mind might never connect at the same level. Jim

Very interesting difference in the three! :hmmm:

I only have much experience with one single pheno from one fem seed. I have a second one in bloom now and a third seedling, so I'll begin to see any differences from those two. But so far, the second seed is growing very much like the original plant did.

I'd say the fast one is the odd one. For one thing, those leaves are really fat. None of my three were as fat. The other two have more highly ridged leaves, too, which is typical of my Carnivals.

MOC doesn't give much public info on Carnival's genetics other than Haze x mostly sativa, but I found an online review which describes the genetics as "Central American/California Haze hybrid and a father of unknown sativa-dominant origins rumored to mix Santa Maria, Haze, and Mexican genetics".

So, there IS some recessive indica in it that might be expressing in that more vigorous fat pheno - should be interesting to watch. :cheesygrinsmiley:

The root growth on the Tikal cuts in water exploded over the past few days, so I stuck one in soil today. They're only 17 days old and look at that growth! I'm getting great results this time, and it may have to do with using fresh unused cups to put 'em in - no sign of bad stuff in this cup.

Graytail, I hate to sound like a moron, but are you rooting clones in cups of water only ? No plugs or RW cubes?

Thanks, Andy.

Yup. I stumbled across it when I forgot and left a cut in the cup. Since then, I've had some interesting success - some will save for 5 weeks in the cup. That provides a lot of flexibility for taking cuttings, and starting them later - like if one fails - got another in the cup still. :slide:

I do drop a pinch of Roots in the water for the microbes and trace elements.

Funny you should ask...google cannaprint
