Graytail's 3rd: 4x4, HiBrix, Latest LED Tech, Lots Of Light!

I did not. I just cracked 11 other seeds too in doubled beer cups :)
I will with the Z'ACE (Ziggy-ACE seeds)seeds.
That why I asked.. Im getting ready to have at least 3 maybe 4 strains pollenated with each other. :)

You're a madman Ziggy. :laughtwo:

GT, any results from sexing the seeds? TY :)

Hahah, y'know what? I never even thought about it. I've been growing fems for so long that I don't think about males. That batch I took photos of was interesting though, because all but one or two of 'em had that feminine dimple crater. I'll try to remember to take a good photo of the next seed(s) I plant. These BH crosses should be fems 'cause the parents were.

I like your style. I think I'll be growing all my photos and most autos using your method. What node do you typically top at? And do you keep the first two nodes,, the one and three leaf ones.... thanks bro! .rep to you my friend

I don't go by nodes, but it would typically be around the ... 8th? They're usually around 10-12 inches when I start looking for how to train 'em, and I get about a one inch node spacing. The bottom 4 nodes usually end up being trash and get trimmed off, so that would leave four pairs to work with. I want a dozen or so tops, so maybe 9-10th node is more like it ... call it 8th-10th node somewhere. Actually, I usually bend the leader entirely over instead of topping. These last two just cried out to be topped, is all. :cheesygrinsmiley: Thanks for the reps!

They don't call Gray the BushMaster for nothing! :thumb:

Actually, I'll let you in on a lil secret about ol' Graytail. They called him "Master" in his day. And they loved it jus' fine ... :;):

Was wondering ...gotta few Q's. about your Destroyer .How many leaders did she have(POTY) ? How much stretchin did she do Gray? Were you happy with flavour, high, and lastly, yield? Sorry for all the Q's....but....but Fairly new strain.. .well, not really. not much info.,especially in H.B. soil. Thanks again bud.:high-five:

Sitting over here waiting on that answer. ;)

I went back and checked my records, and I put Destroyer into 12/12 at 20 inches and 75 days old. It topped out at 27.5 inches 40 days later and I chopped at 66 days from 12/12. It had 10 tops, and I was disappointed in the yield - only 1.5 oz. :cheesygrinsmiley:

She sure was pretty!

Here's what she looked like when I flipped her:

But as you say, Desfran is supposed to be a real stretcher, so ... dunno. The pheno I have is going to be like Utopia Haze - all leggy and fluffy.

[edit] I forgot - I did a smoke report on Destroyer in my second journal: :cheesygrinsmiley:

That was one of my favorite smoke reports. It's a shock to see the pictures of before the flip compared to pre-harvest. You watch them grow on a daily basis and it happens so gradually you miss it without documentation. She sure was pretty. No matter how hard I fight it, envy is the overwhelming response. :green_heart:

Similar technique that I do. I remove consistently the bottom 20-30% then each branch I remove 60-75% from stalk up to cola site per branch roughly at 12" then top. I notice my main 8 colas get much larger with the lack of addition sites on each branch. The reason being is theres less area for nutrients to be taken up. Most will focus on end site(cola) of each branch. I then top roughly 4 nodes down. That's all I ever do now. I used to fim, lst, super crop and mainline. This produces the most manageable plant in my setup.

Gray once again thanks for the heads up on doc bud. His gear tested higher in a side by side.

In that example, I kept the healthy fans and just nipped off the shoots at their nodes.

Thanks so much my friend...I know that prolly took you a few min's. to find that info ,so reps brotha. You say you flipped at 20" ...how bout that Gray ,i did too...not knowing what you did.I can say for sure that they will top out way taller than your 27.5".Today they are at a solid 24,and no pistils yet....shoot Gray they really havn't even started to stretch yet. They were growing this fast, last week before the flip....oh oh! There is plenty of room ,up top for them, so i'm ready...i hope!:thanks: Cheers eh and have an awesome night pal.

So at what stage do you get rid of the fans Gray? Thanks dude :)

I don't. :cheesygrinsmiley:

I pick 'em off when they start to die. If the growth is especially thick in veg, I'll pull a few to get 'em outta of the way, but otherwise I don't defol.
