Yup GT, normal or what other people call normal, rarely stops in my life. Sometimes you just have to go with what is really important at the time and let other things slide. Hope everything is working out for ya.

I lopped the top off of Buddha Haze x Blue Blood and started her training. She took it really well and is going to be a fine bush when she grows up. :Love:

During my vague fatigue-filled period of un-numbered days, the girls in cups got mistreated (I'm Such a careless grower) so I'm not going to show you pictures of them until they look prettier ... Nah, what the heck, here's their ugly-ass selves after upcanning. :straightface:

Hey Scrubbs...Conradino knows his Sativas better than most . Just don't call him ConMan....i know...i couldn't resist ...i don't think he liked it ...i'm not sure, but he started calling me Duggan Man so ,go figure eh....Just messin around Conradino....respect brotha...:Namaste:

I don't know if you should even try to use sativa strain to fall asleep as they usually stimulate you a fair bit, but there are still good strains to tackle chronic pain, I have one myself and Green Crack does a good job here :)
 
What's happening GT? I put my Tikals (both female) and Tangerine Dream into flower Sunday and Monday. I can't wait, the clock is ticking. Do you only have 1 Tikal going? My 2 are like 2 different plants, I know this was a new strain for ACE so maybe there is a lot of different Phenos. Have a good one bud.

I really like the reasoning behind your trainning technique, I´ve been interested in it since your last year´s perpetual. 1 topping is more than enough to redistribute de auxin hormone apical meristem dominance to the lateral meristems. By continuous gently bending, you contribute to further this redistribution without being harsh on the plant nor decimating your crop.
I don´t know if you have done 12/12 from seed, the plants usually start showing flowering tendencies (as in fast stretching) towards the 4th week (depending on strain), counting from their first HBx feeding (I start the Growth Energy when I see 3 nodes). So they don´t veg for long, thus the window of time for topping is limited.
I will try your method for this 12/12 crop and I hope you can advice me.
I´m thinking on 1 topping plus your LST. Until what development stage do you continue to bend? Until you see bud formation or further?

Genetics and breeding is more of my strong point. If you want a sleeper try get your hands on Hashplant. If you can't succeed in doing that try and get your hands on Night Nurse! I've just popped some seeds in my own journal though I've grown it from cut and smoked her many times. Don't know too many people who can stay awake through her seduction. She is a Hashplant/White Widow/Thai plant so the genetics speak loud enough I think! best of luck and feel free to pm if you have any other questions regarding genetics and health issues :thumb:
