Grandpa's Second Try - Come Join Us!

Awesome gramps she's growing very well now. Added soil will help support her for sure. Just keep at it! You got this :thumb:
Thanks to your suggestion to add that soil. Hopefully, she'll start growing up. She's spent enough time as a toddler. LOL!

Thanks a lot, KJ! Yes I see your logic. I'll see what I can find on the Play Store. I believe I even saw some Journal apps proper for growing. I'll see what I can find. Great suggestions! :thumb:

Thanks sometimes my brain kicks in and does it job.

Keep doing what your doing though looking good

We had to remove the water bowl from the tent. Kelley Found What appears and feels to be algae in the water. It could be mold or mildew, and we are not taking any chances. We are going to try to place a humidifier just outside the back flap of the tent and hope some of that cool humid air will leak in with the negative pressure. It also looks like the humidity readings at79% was incorrect. Apparently, somehow the meter froze at 79%. . We reset the unit, and I believe it is now accurate.

We wish all of you a Happy Thanksgiving full of love, peace, good food and most of all a lot of fun. May Our Savior Jesus Christ brighten your holiday with His presence! :folded-hands: :circle-of-love:

A very good morning to you gramps!!! Kelley as likely correct. Water and light will often create some algae naturally. Good call with the humidifier. Your growing skills and instincts are spot on now!

Wishing you a very blessed thanksgiving weekend filled with joy, family, laughter, and some uplifting meds ✌

Nothing really to report in detail, except she'll probably get some water tomorrow. The soil on top still has a moistness to it, but it is definitely going to be dry tomorrow. My fingers tell me that she has grown a little bit up, and most of her foliage seems to be close to the top at this point. Kelley says it looks like she might be growing two different stems? I don't want to put that much pressure on her now, so I'll let you all be the judge. 😉 :young-plant:

Awesome gramps! She's really growing now! Gonna blossom into a beautiful Turkey . Keep on keeping on and she will do wonderful for you guys!

She is greening up nicely Gramps! Whatever you are doing is working but just be cautious with the overwatering. You want those roots to search for the water so make sure you are watering around her on the outside so she has to stretch those roots. More/stronger roots, more/stronger shoots!!

Thank you for reminding me about that, VS. I have basically been placing water around the edges of the part of the pot that has nothing but soil. Since she is so far to the side, I haven't been giving her much if any water close to the side of the pot where she is. The water has been getting placed in the area where she isn't. No more than 64 Oz at a time, as the pot is still very heavy and I can feel moist through the pot at the bottom. So I only give her enough for on top. I am beginning to think that you can shooting her roots to the side and down as well. Frankly, I'm just very pleased but she seems to be kicking into her stride finally.
