Grandpa's Second Try - Come Join Us!

Thanks for all the opinions, guys! It appears that you'll all agree. As soon as we can find something to start her in, the new photo will be started and placed in the tent. We will keep an eye on me rh2 be certain it stays at least where it is.

Good Monday everyone! Well... We found a Big Gulp cup from 7-Eleven. We are going to fill it about halfway with the new soil, and drop a seed and water within the next couple of days. The lights will be turned back on and back to veg. since this new soil is water only or seed to harvest, it might be a little boring to follow, but I'll try to keep it interesting. I'm sure I'll have a number of new questions to ask . The water will be pH'ed to between 6.5 and 7. I absolutely refuse to overwater. I also am setting reminders on my phone to check the humidity, in case I forget. Lights will stay on the 18-6 cycle.
I am going to be calling the build a soil people today, just to find out if they feel that the Great White micros would be helpful, a hindrance, or just a neutral edition. If they feel it would be a good addition, we will order some of that when we get the money. Am I forgetting anything? Have I screwed anything up in this plan? I really don't think so, but I want to be sure since we're going into photos for the first time.

BW...got it. I'm rather excited myself not only for using this soil, but also for going into the photo version of these wondrous plants. I just talked to Zack at Build A Soil. He said that the great white would be helpful when transplanting. So, we will get some of that when we can. We do have a little bit of time before it will be needed. I'll let you guys know a little bit later what strain we have decided on for this one plant grow.

Hey nothing boring about growing cannabis in soil where you don't need to add a bunch of stuff and hope you are making your girl happy. Let the soil do that and you can enjoy the rest of your life!!!

Thanks for all the great and encouraging words, everyone! And Joe... Holes poked. :thumb:
The Strain that will be grown is...Shark Shock CBD, by Dyna Fem. It has a 1:1 ratio. We chose this one because of the documented relief it provides for anxiety, depression, and offers a very Mellow High that I really enjoy. It is also supposed to be a very good strain for beginners like myself. Not to mention... 4 those of us who are having trouble figuring out autos. .

So this is an auto coming gramps ?

DB is right. This will be a photo. Really looking forward to seeing if we can do this one right. LOL!

We also just looked in on Emma and Elsa. They are not looking any worse, in fact, I think I feel buds forming on the side nodes, and a small one at the top of each plant. I will take pictures tomorrow, and get them posted so you guys can see if I'm right. While the leaves are discolored, they are still very soft, smooth and pliable for the most part. I think we may get a li'l somethin' somethin' out of them.

Weeds are hard to kill bud

I abandoned
My green crack next store long story they are feminized seeds from crop king seeds

Ended up getting busy at work play neighbour lazy no watering or anything as I told hi to

Pretty cool so I said every three days or so I'll add some more bloom
Stuff lol

Hey some is better then none right

By all means, some is better than none. 10% of what they can do is better than 100% of nothing. So we will just keep with the water, and possibly add someBloom one-quarter strength every other time. Of course, paying attention to the PPMs. It's coming a little bit later.

Yep never give up gramps! They aren't either :) I'm sure you'll end up with at least some meds!

Can't wait to see how your high cbd strain comes out! I really wanted to try one but it was labeled expert and that's a little out of my wheel house at the moment haha. So I will live vicariously through you. If that's ok? Hope all is well in your neck of the woods.

PW...good to know that my fingers weren't imagining things. :thumb:
Dabber...live it up! .
If we manage to do this successfully, you will certainly have no problem growing this strain. If I can do it... Literally anybody can. And that holds true for anything growing related. One of the main reasons I decided on this one was just that. Supposedly easy for beginners, and the CBD will certainly help both of us.

The seed is now in the soil. We watered the soil to run off, with water at 6.7 before planting. The PPMs were 150. The runoff pH was 6.5. I am going to assume that those numbers are okay. We will have a little spray bottle with water in it to spray down the soil on top of the seed to keep it moist. Cross your fingers everyone! .
