Grandpa Tokin’s Perpetual

I would definitely like to see some Dynasty plants. Never run any of their gear, but heard alot of good reviews from growers I trust. Seems like the seedbanks I usually buy from do not carry them.

I'll definitely keep ya posted, think I'm most excited for the lime berry mega. The terp profile is a 10/10 and says loud as fuck. Really this is the first time I've spent good amount of coin on seeds so my expectations are high.

Red ones...yeah, that’s it. LOL! I think they’re Gala or Red Delicious. I have two small apple, two plum, and two cherry. Last year was the first time bearing fruit for the plum. The apples and cherries have done well the last five years. I didn’t spray the year before and the worms got everything. It sucks when you have 200+ apples and they’re all bad...hahaha!

I have 2 huge Macintosh, still got frozen pies from last year. I really pruned them up this year, maybe to much.
What's surprising me most is how well my Blackberries are doing. Taste like candy when they fully ripe, I dont think I ever had a ripe one til I grew my own.

Walmart gets em from all walks of life. Its almost comical to be in a Walmart and people watch. There are some Strange ones that go to Walmart, Like they climb out of the woodwork to go there. My wife says its like redneck central in there Lol. There was a sight that shows some Crazy people in Walmart's I think its call the Wall Martians or something like that but it had 100s of pics and you would not believe some of them. Men dressed like woman people who crapped their pants and its running down their legs and they don't have a care in the world they are just taking their time shopping etc. Some Crazy $h^t
Check out PeopleofWalmart dot com if you want a laugh. I have shed many tears on that site!

Shoulder day. I learned something...again...a strong posterior chain is the key to almost everything fitness. I’m not just talking about booty or leg work, but the entire core and the connection between the two (Upper and lower body, as well as anterior and posterior). To boil it down...it’s all freaking connected. For instance, while doing standing military presses, just squeezing my glutes while performing the movement, allowed me to increase the weight by 2.5 lbs per side. Not a lot, I know, but I’ve been stuck at a certain weight for several weeks. Working on over-all core and back greatly benefited in almost all other compound movements. Duh...

I also pushed the earth 100 times during my 45 minute brisk walk. I’m getting stronger and I feel it. My weight loss has slowed a little, but I’m currently fluctuating between 182 and 185 lbs daily. I’m still in a caloric deficit so I know I’m losing fat, but it’s just not coming off like it was. I estimate I still need to lose 10-15 lbs, but we shall see. I’m determined to get this fat off my body.

The garden has been ignored the last few days. My seeds are not sprouting and that’s not a good thing. I’ll let them sit for another week and see what happens. I’m taking clones this afternoon or tomorrow from the GG and TC and then they will go into flower. I’m really looking forward to that. I’ll take pictures when it happens.

I have work to do around my place...it never ends. Please stay safe and have a great day!

I had good intentions, but didn’t get finished with everything. My wife decided I was doing something other than what I had planned. I did clean the flower room (which was much more filthy than I remembered), cleaned two buckets and air stones, and prepared nutes for both, and moved the girls into their new home. I still need to take clones, but looks like that may not happen till late tonight or tomorrow. Oh well, I’m a happy camper nonetheless; I have plants in flower again!!! :woohoo:

Well that didn't take long. :high-five::passitleft:

Quick question for anyone that watches RH while curing. I'm sure theres a thread on this but the growers I trust are here.
Everything I read says to jar 65% n burp down to 60%. I've always done it by feel with no meter. I am trying to go by a meter now. I am at 58% to 60% rh in all my jars, sealed overnight.....perfect right? Issue is that to me my buds feel wet still. Am I crazy or missing something or have I been over drying this whole time? Any info or opinions greatly appreciated.

:hmmmm: Is that level from one meter or a couple/few I have found a lot of variance in meters.:thumb:
I bought 8 and compared them to my main gauge in my grow room. The lowest read 38% the highest read 41% and my room gauge said 40%. I'm assuming 9 out of 9 gauges reading within 3% is acceptable.

My experience and limited understanding...
As they cure, there is an up and down rh spike effect. Yeah you can get the outside real dry and jar them, then the rh will spike as more moisture migrates out from the center or most dense parts of the bud. Something I've learned to do, is keep it in the refrigerator to get it dryer and cold. Take it out of the fridge and let it reach room temp. Now remove the jar top and it should off gas a good bit. Place top back on jar and back into the fridge and repeat daily until you reach your rh goal. Then I toss in a 62% rh packet (58% are available) and store as typical. But I'll still check on them to make sure they're stable, because you can't undo mold. If I have a large amount, I'll put the bud into a large brown paper sacks and use the fridge crisper for the process. If moisture is still to high, I'll spread it out and let them air dry more. Also over stuffing your jars can hinder the process. You still need air getting to all sides of the bud.

I'm currently using 5 gallon buckets with bucket liners. Each bucket 3/4 full. I had them sealed with a rubber gasket lid for 18 hours. I have been monitoring them constantly before the 18 hour sit, each time I burped them I'd loose 1 or 2% rh. Currently have a couple ounces in a 2 qt Mason jar and have been holding steady at 57% and still feels wet. I'll keep watching and waiting. Kinda freaking myself out!
