Grandpa Tokin’s Perpetual

Wouldn’t that be lovely!
Hopefully, nobody will try to graph a bat’s butt to weed...I don’t have a great deal of confidence in our fellow man though...some people’s kids ya know? You just want to whip their ass right there in the Walmart checkout line. There are some really weird people in this world. LOL!
Walmart gets em from all walks of life. Its almost comical to be in a Walmart and people watch. There are some Strange ones that go to Walmart, Like they climb out of the woodwork to go there. My wife says its like redneck central in there Lol. There was a sight that shows some Crazy people in Walmart's I think its call the Wall Martians or something like that but it had 100s of pics and you would not believe some of them. Men dressed like woman people who crapped their pants and its running down their legs and they don't have a care in the world they are just taking their time shopping etc. Some Crazy $h^t

You have a serious gym. We have some equipment in our basement too that I need to start using and an elliptical upstairs I desperately need to start using. With my COPD. I REALLY need to work on my endurance and cardio
I hear ya bud. I don’t want to be “that guy” who’s always preaching fitness, but I just can’t help it. It’s a difficult first-step—trust me, I know—but just a tiny bit of exercise everyday will improve how you feel in a very short amount of time.

It’s like a sore dick...you can’t beat it. :cheesygrinsmiley:

I was BIG time into working out. In fact I was so into it my wife left, Well that and a couple other reasons but the biggest one was I was spending all my time working out if I wasn't teaching. I was even doing a double split routine when you work out one body part in the morning and another body part in the evening with NO off days. I was also training MMA style so if I wasn't teaching I was in the gym and really never spent the time I should have with my family. Now I blame myself and rightly so but I have a Big mental block about getting back into it. My health is $h^t now and all that abuse I put my body through has me all gimped up. That and the drugs I did after my wife left has taken a tole out of my body so I need to start back Slowly. Hell a third grader could beat me up now and I am as week as a kitten and just shopping I get out of breath and tired. I am also VERY obsessive so when I am into something I am consumed with it. I wish I could have more then one interest but that's just not how I am. I am all the way into something or not at all. Like this last computer I put together I really need to finish it but I cant get motivated enough to do it. 6 months ago or a year ago that's all I was into until my interest shifted to growing, Now I am all into growing

Trust me, I got the T-shirt. I know exactly what you’re saying, and more importantly, how you feel. After my open heart surgery—in 2018–I literally could not walk to the mailbox. That, plus being >100 lbs overweight made it very difficult to do anything. My wife gave me the best motivation to this day...she whispered in my ear as I was going into surgery, “if anyone can do this, it’s you.” She doesn’t know this, but those words gave me the motivation to keep going. More importantly, motivation to push myself.

Now, it doesn’t mean much except that now I can beat up a second grader...still working on the third graders.

Tomorrow is take a walk day on the golf course I get pretty tired after 18 holes of packin my golf clubs on my back no where near what you are doin but at least it's something
That’s a great workout. Basically that’s what I do for cardio...walk. At our age it’s so good for us. Especially you! Hahaha! Old fart.

Nice looking gym GT. Similar to my home gym.

My ah ha moment was when I went and watched my wife complete a 10k mud run. There were people that looked so out of shape wading the mud and climbing walls...I was the dumbass outside the ropes smoking a Marlboro Red. Felt like the biggest loser in the world. It was shortly after that I started running. The running helped me quit smoking after 25 years. Didn't make a lot of sense to run 5 miles then light up a red....
