I think I will be going the same route as you and Modest,,,, my plants aren't even flipped yet so I'm in no rush , I'll jump on it next super sale I was just going to buy the 90 m bags after reading the right up west Hippie linked Dutchman rosin room , that link answered alot of my questions ,, I think it would be cool if everyone filmed a smoosh and we linked all the videos together to make a complication porno with the video sped up ofcourse , I shall call it Rosie squirts without a blowout by 420ions , happy SaturdayThis is what I was able to get.
They were sold out of a lot of stuff that was in my cart but I hadn't paid for yet. It wad a busy day at work...sucks for me but it makes me happy that one of our sponsors is getting a surge of sales. I hope many of those are from our members. We really are lucky to have these companies to support us. I appreciate this place more and more as time passes. Blessings y'all! Just had a small Grease Monkey dab and vaped some Alaskan Thunder $uck. Time to chill with the family for a little bit. Do some more reading here and get some munchies figured out.
I highly recommend the parchment paper from the press club, and their rosin bags. That parchment paper is a little pricey, but its possibly slicker than the stuff that Clark Griswald sprayed on that sled in Christmas VacationKnow what...what else should I be getting to make my life easier?
@BobbyZ got me started on this slick paper .I highly recommend the parchment paper from the press club, and their rosin bags. That parchment paper is a little pricey, but its possibly slicker than the stuff that Clark Griswald sprayed on that sled in Christmas Vacation
thanks I will grab some next time. The only issue I am having now, is the puck keeps slipping out of the press because of the slickness of the paper. Any suggestions? I saw in that video posted earlier that he puts his hash into a 160 micron bag at the end, I wonder if that would help with the slippage when pressing flower@BobbyZ got me started on this slick paper .
Grandpa Likes To Squeeze Stuff: Solventless Extracts, Rosin, Pressed Here!
Can someone here watching this thread point me towards some good parchment and filter bag folding techniques? I just stuck my pre-pressed puck into the bag and then cut off the excess and pointed the opening of the bag towards the fold of the parchment. Are your plates coming down flat . If impression paper wasn’t so expensive.thanks I will grab some next time. Yeah plates are flat, I think the problem is the bags I got are too small. They're 1.25 x 4. Tbr other ones I was using were 2x4Are your plates coming down flat . If impression paper wasn’t so expensive.
Well this escalated quickly....wow 2 day shipping and no customs charge for Canada. Now I need to get some parchment paper and we are going to smash tonight for a joint or maybe the vape I have. Gotta get moving now then.
So I am definitely excited to watch others and see what everyone uses for the paper and screens but I always did bagless and everyday parchment paper with the buds I grew and cured. Hopefully, the pre press is in there.......not seeing the pre press unfortunately
Wish I could mail you some Baked!I'm excited to give it a go. I don't have anything to smoosh
And eventually fewer and fewer folks come by or post like they did in the old days.Just make it a perpetual journal that goes on and on .
Congrats on the new unit Modest, with how much flower we end up with it only makes sense ,,,,,, how does feel out of the box ? Does it seem like good quality brother?Well this escalated quickly....wow 2 day shipping and no customs charge for Canada. Thanks so much for that! I wish I could do the same. I really do think I'm going to try and see if we can get a regular NorCal meet up going. A fun place to trade and learn. For me, I would want to gift so much because of all the wisdom bestowed so freely. Blessings Shed!Wish I could mail you some Baked!
Wait wait...I should have known your "near" me?!? I'm sure at some point it has been discussed right?Furthest north I'll be getting is going to be Monterey now, and not until late spring. My trips to Davis ended in June.
Today could be the day! Also, I'm in Los Angeles.Wait wait...I should have known your "near" me?!? I'm sure at some point it has been discussed right?
Please forgive my memory. This is one of the drawbacks for me with this medicine. A major issue actually is potentially a genetic disposition to losing it at a faster rate than I would like.
Anyway...check this out!!! @DabPress is out of this freaking world! I'm so excited! Thanks everyone for the nudges in this direction. Really glad to support a sponsor too. I need to pick up some more OT shifts so I can start stocking up on supplies. I picked up some pre-presses, except the square 2x4 since they were sold out. Figured I would wait until they get it in stock. I was watching a show recently where the guy showed off a shelf full of beautiful fancy pre-presses and he boldy said that its a waste of time and money. He said to get better at packing the bags by hand and it goes by faster. Thoughts? I think it was a recent Build-a-Soil YT video in case someone wants to watch it.
Yes. Yes it does!Ohhh...does my scribbling properly express my level of paranoia?

Yeah, I've been watching videos and the people make it look easy. Also, it seems that having slip out is a problem to learn to avoid. There is a knack to packing a bag with flower so it doesn’t tear.
Large bag? Small bag = 2x4?I like squishing 15g of trim in a large bag. Small bags, 6g of flower each so two at a time.
I have seen platen written. Although I suppose it is the formal word, if in convos people use the word plates, is it accepted?! LOLYou just gotta have a play. Try different temperatures on your platen. You’ll find your techniques.
