The next time I do these pics I'll designate which plants are from the less-haired mother and which are from the more-haired mother, but here's the eight GDP mother rejects; a few of them look okay (I like the second and fifth plants):

The two GDP f2 mothers (the first is the more-haired mother and the second is the less-haired mother):

I forgot to take a pic of the original GDP clone I have in with them, but it's not much to look at. :)

Nice and frosty for youngsters.. I never tried GDP myself... I did have acouple males I had to cull once.. Cheap ass me only bought 2 seed.. But it is a great looking strain GL and Keepem Green

I have a friend here,, Stoney Girl', well they work abit with DJ, and they had some unreleased F-4 clones they were using for their seed breeding thing.. Some of his blueberry work, so I got one. Dude it was great.. Like straight sweet tasting candy, but stupid me.. Well if I had a dollar for every cut I kick myself for not taking a cut.. You get the idea. They are good genetics, IF you get a good pheno.. Mine didn't yield if I rememeber right,, kind of sativaish. I really like the look of the Whitaker Blues. Dutch seeds has a great variant of Blueberry. I do plan on going up to Stoney Girls again and see if they still have a mother going.. They got a hella big 'farm' going with breeder stock and afew old genetics going.. Sorrry to babble.. Keepem Green

My problem is I'm looking for that 'one'.. If I kept a cut of each one,, damn I'd need a roon dedicated to cuts.. Could it be a simple case of 'my eyes are just bigger than my stomach',, but I wish I had a strain called Vantage I had like 6-7 years back.. I bought more in searches or the last years, and I couldn't believe the pheno was even in there,, everything was crap beaster buddage., Wasn't any even close, I did about 7-8 plants out since, matter a fact I still have seeds.. Was a reputable vendor that use to be on here.. But there have been more good phenos lost,,, than I care to count.. Keepem Green

Wish I could be serious! :)
I'm going in the direction of this less-haired Grand Daddy Purple f2 mother. Most of the next seeds for f3 are going to come from it (I'll be doing a few more GDP S1s with it, a few of these f2 x original seeds, and hopefully I'll have a clone of the original with them too):

This is the more-haired GDP f2 mother I picked. It looks like it's going to get a lot more of the purple color:

I'm gonna let the father dry up; all 3 female plants are pollinated. I'll try to remember to get a pic up of the original clone I have in there too.
Is that the rock group Yess I hear in the background? Going for the one..... going for the one..... :)

I didn't get a pic of them all, but I thought I'd post a few of the mother rejects. The first pic is one of the more-haired mother's offspring and the next 3 are from the less-haired mother, which seems to have more variation in the offspring:

They're starting to show their differences :)

Things are moving along well Chimp! It's good to hear what your plans are for the future with this strain. I have lost a few cuts that I would like to still have around. I lost my kandy kush that out shined everything my buddy was growing at the time. He had a sage and sour going that was a frosty dream that all of his people couldn't get enough of and this was in another class altogether. I also lost a nice chocolope and girl scout cookies at the same time. You're right about everyone searching for the one that ticks all the boxes.

Keep working this strain I and hoping you hit stability sooner rather than later :thumb:
