Man Chimp those are looking great! If those are your s1 clones and not the original than I think you are on the right track with your breeding project. Some lovely colors and structure coming through

Hopefully the grape smell will come back as you go. Most purple strains I have come across have the grape funk to them to some degree. Other than a blueberry cut that use to circulate. That smelt of blueberries surprisingly enough

Pre '98 Bubba Kush S1:
I wanted to get a few pics up of the shape of the blades on this GDP leaf. I think this clone is from the original plant I had because that blade shape looks familiar (curvy, especially at the tip):
At six weeks old, these GDP f2s only got fed once. I'm using up my liquid nutes on these because the grow isn't for pot it's for parents:
I'm going to put them into bloom soon so I can see what ones are male before I waste soilless mix on transplants. They won't be big but I'll get it going faster

I put them under a 250 watt CFL by themselves, but I still haven't started 12/12. These two GDPs have to go so I can do some rearranging in the bloom tent:

Wow these needed watering. I can't go three days between with them any more (GDP f2 plants):
The next time I water them I'll feed them too, and in maybe a week or so I'll flip the light to bloom.

I gave those plants above a dose of fish fertilizer yesterday (5-1-1). Here's that slow growing Pre '98 Bubba Kush S1, next to a GDP clone:
That Bubba may be slow growing but she sure does look healthy for the time being

As long as I stay light on the waterings I should be okay with it. I think I'm gonna let it get about 1-1/2 to 2 feet tall before I put it in bloom. That should be about maybe a year from now.....

I haven't been using it as much as I should.
I put all 19 GDP f2 plants (ranging from 6" to 8" tall) under the 400 watt HPS today and started bloom. I'll get a pic up of them when I can; I gotta chop two GDPs today and I'll get pics of them up too the ol' chimp's a-smokin' these days.....

Those sure did get some color Chimp! They look excellent this time around. Too bad about the banana. Are you running any more clones of these?

Yeah. I put three cuttings in the mother's pot when I lollipopped it, and they're in reveg right now. They don't start again easily like that, so it's gonna be a while. I've got a few GDP clones going on, and I'm not quite sure what's what at the moment.
I would guess that the one that threw bananas was an s1 clone which is what you had thought. The main reason I say this is I haven't seen your original one hermi ever. Feminized plants seem to have a lot higher tendency to do so so that would be my bet.

Yeah I've never seen the original turn that dark purple either, and I have seen my S1 and GDP x GDP plants both turn that dark. I think the two clones that I have about a foot tall and the 4" one are the original. This one here might be, but I think it's from the same plant as the last two I chopped a few days ago (I'm gonna reveg it to be safe):

I never would have noticed the gnat wing in the picture if you hadn't mentioned it. I like how dark those last couple of plants got for you. I also have a slight fascination with purple strains. The plant above is mighty frosty as always Chimp it is looking good.

There's another one on a leaf in the lower left corner just outside of the bud he's mostly dark so it's harder to notice
I decided to give these GDP f2 plants a dose of AN's Iguana Juice grow today. They may have been a little small to start into bloom:
