Gorilla Breath, Kwazulu, Bag Seed & Autos

thank you so much Smokey! Am so blessed. ive some good grandmother white witches baking up cannabis goods for me atm. raining all week here so a good week to go down. plus tbh, hanging w a hot nurse and doctor yesterday didn't hurt this old man's feelings lol. to better days for us both Smokey.
So are you at home then? I am building my courage to go shovel the sidewalks did it yesterday and it wasn't good. Anyway a speedy recovery my friend!

oh yez, home thank God. closer to the jar of grapefruit ;)
we should have heated sidewalks and driveways more than wasteful gov/pentagon spending imo. yogi 4 prez 2024. "A full stash in every home".

Two weeks later am walking, w/o a walker, finally. Not out of the woods but made it out of the house.
bagseed grow is getting there but i want better secondary branching before flip

i put a clone of this out but it got snapped at the base by a squirrel, having let it be it sent up two branches and flowered. Really great scent, floral lemon w fuel. Id have to check notes but about 1 month into flower.

Gorrila Breath in a 1g seems to be unquenchable in its hunger. last tea feeding was 530 tds. im keeping one in veg the other will stay with three kwazulu and what may be Hula Dancer (kalite tizane x citrus farmer - both African sativas).... sigh....ok heres the thing: i was HELLA RIPPED on a 7xs avg dose of RSO, Vicadin and other prescription meds when trying to germ these seeds and so i MAY have used some African kwazulu  we will see.
i feel like an idiot.
20201122_141420.jpg

in hopes of positive action I put two hula dancers in soil to germ yesterday.
The two larger 1g kwazulus have been placed out side and went and doubled sized in four days lol, going to be pulling those sideways pretty soon.
20201122_111004.jpg

20201122_110941.jpg

all in all i will flower seven plants indoors:
3 kwazulu
1mystery kwazulu hula dancer
1 Gorrila Breath
1bagseed lst'd lemony fuel thingy
1 of it's clone
outside:
2 kwazulu
2 bagseed clones, 3 weeks apart

in germination
3 mystery kwazulu/ hula dancer
2 hula dancers (16 week flower) planted while stone cold sober.
I hope this finds you all well, happy and healthy. namaste.

and so the 2020/21 winter flowering participants are
inside:
4 kwazulu (one 2 weeks from germ.)
2 Gorrila Breath, just trimmed up
1 Lst'd bagseed (looking a whole lot like lemon grape.)
outside:
3 bagseed clones (roughly 3 weeks. apart.)
2 kwazulu
20201127_123308.jpg

Veg station holds 11 Gorrila Breath clones, one bagseed clone and 1 of 2 hula dancer seeds in soil has cracked!

bagseed at roughly 1 month flowering
20201126_103828.jpg

it flowers like lemon grape plus couldn't help noticing how purple the undertone of the mature leaves are in the lst'd bagseed plant:
20201122_161144.jpg

267 strains have the limonene terpene lemon grape so far stands as most similar in leaf, flower and flower time (54- 60 day). thoughts?
IF it is, am very happy. when the lst bagseed is done ill stuff all the Gorrila Breath clones in 2g containers under the lights to flower as the kwazulu won't be done till end of March.
bending Kwazulu and trimming p this weekend. They are hollow stemmed af, resilient after snapping though. first week of flower, 15 more to go  :laugh:

last bagseed clone to go outside

Gorrila breath all trimmed up, any advice gladly taken.
20201127_123009.jpg

ill put both in 3g containers tonight then flipping lights on Monday woooo hooo!!! been waiting months to get to this position. got a bag of hindu kush, a jar of blue dream, jar of grapefruit and a liter of strong tincture of mixed strains from 1.5 years of trim that was stored in the freezer. :slide:
even some Jack Herer left for some bong hits lol.
Am positively chuffed at the moment.
hope everyone had a great day.

Looks good yogi how your back doing?
Thank you Smokey Am healing not using a walker now ty. Managed 3 jobs but barely lol only two more scheduled then taking more time off. Glad I grow food too  Still getting around the garden obviously. Thank you so much for asking. Noticed your pants are looking a lot stronger, nice job.

man transplanting out of a 1g fabric container was not fun. How are you all doing it? I sliced two open to remove the root ball of which one did not go without some expressive objectionable language. G. Breath are in 3g of soil roughly and well watered.

Watching Dr. Bruce Bugbee on yt, maximizing yields very informative imho. Him and the other fela who looks like John Candy in mutton chop sideburns.... cannot recall name lol anyhow... trying to learn...
That little lemon grape with at best four grams wet of bud can be detected from 30 feet away  omg yeah i forgot, dried some tiny lower bud on the cars console fri, sat and burned At night. lol. that shit put me down like a first timer honestly. Soaring buzz at first two hours later out like a light.:slide:

first a shoutout to @Budget LED your work is outstanding. this is round two of seedings for my food not just my herb and I am so impressed. First light I've had to dial back lol, running at 70% for first few days of flower w the UV off. morning temp currently 67° afternoon evening temp around 77°. If anyone reads this (it could happen, lol) and is considering led you would do no wrong buying from these guys. I will def be buying more lights from them.

20201201_134515.jpg

underside of Lemon Grape canopy day one of 12/12, flower should begin in 10 days or so am expecting harvest mid Feb or earlier.
20201201_134451.jpg

Any criticism welcome, im here to learn not just document.

For those interested in growing Kwazulu (@The Phantom ) it responds well to lst and has responded to flower in 10 days of being put outside.( super hollow stem to btw) Some claim it's 16 weeks, others 9 to 10 really hoping for early as my friends in Michigan want to grow a full sativa strain in 2021.
cedar bark training, all the pros are doing it ;) lol
20201129_143616.jpg

Same plant placed next to lst'd lemon grape to demonstrate how dark LG is getting. Ive two LG phenos, one is lime green then this clone and the mother plant in flower.
20201201_161537.jpg

and the other LG put out 25 days earlier snapped at the base by squirrels and put out two survival buds lol.
20201202_084647.jpg

blows me away how resilient these plants are. Also that ^^^ IS 25 Days of flower :laughtwo: w white trichs everywhere. if i find male plants in the recently flipped room i am def breeding into the lst'd lemon grape this is too good to lose imo. Also in preparation for 2021 I'm ordering pure pakistani hash plant seeds for me and my brother, very excited.
:Namaste:

Thanks for the kind words!

Hi Yogi, just catching up after an absence. Sorry about your back injury and glad you are on the mend. Your plants are looking great. I want to know more about the KwaZulu, as I am growing one too. Where does yours hail from and what's its story?

Hey yogi, just read your journal. Sorry about your back and glad to hear you're doing a bit better now! What a nice collection of plants! Will be following your grow closely now, can't wait to see how those African sativas turn out.
thank you so much HutchBenedict! Yes the African continent is getting some representation this winter! the out door kwazulus have a sandalwood earthiness coupled w some undercurrent of burnt rubber n voodoo lol. We will see.

Hi Carmen, thank you glad you've dropped by. The kwazulu is World of Seeds, 6 out of ten have germed, so far no males and I want one to breed seeds with w a kwazulu and the lemon grape. 12/12 from seed recommended but nope vegged mine 3 weeks. (I do have 2 Kalite Tizane x Citrus Farmer cracked as of today hopefully that produces a male too.) i have 20 clone cuttings rooting in soil from all of the plants in the room atm but probably should have kept a mother of the kwazulu. ah well. Super easy, light feeder, light drinker so far and takes the LED light well, no tacoing of the leaf. Also utside i dumped both over on their sides and adjusted to it in a day.

well well things are progressing lol, ive cut a bud off the lemon grape day 35 ish. i know. but look at it, i could snowboard off those slopes. Plus 75%white 12% bronze the rest semi clear. what else to do but cut a bud to be dry enough for Christmas eve.
20201212_075019.jpg
20201212_075438.jpg

Reeediculous odor as well. One bud is left to see what a 7 to 9 week flower produces as a peek at the potential for this sister plant. Got to tame the left side today but overall fairly even, 14 colas wanted to go higher but have been yanked down last night
20201212_082147.jpg

Gorrila Breath took yoga class and is stretchy af. you be you Gorilla Breath.
20201211_181030.jpg

this is a 4'.5" x 2'.5" space with four Kwazulu, 2 Gorrila breath, 2 l grape testers and the beast mode lemon grape. #tightspace but the 250w is killing it like a boss running at 75% power. the room reeks, it's physically shocking. Flipped at 12/1 fowers emerged w all plants at the same time 4 days ago so official flower start is 12/8/20. All should be well harvested by mid February of '21.
20201212_082217.jpg

which brings us to the Freshman class of 2021: the clones and the seedlings.
20201212_082423.jpg

yep theres 22 plants in there folks. yeah I'm ordering lights soon. somewhere in that plastic is a really nice lemon grape cutting that wil be patiently grown into a straight fucking monster, like 20g or 30g container a rope a dope fighter of a clone. #obsessed w this strain. plus alll flowering plants currently are female no balls anywhere. so hopefully by the time the frankenmonster gets going to flower that issue will be solved.
Hula Dancer growing unawares it is a mother pant in the making.
20201212_082403.jpg

Tent temps at 65°f in morning light 79°f from then on till lights out, 50 to 60% humidity, clone room is 70°f.
Feeding was light today but diverse, 169ppm of compost fish, silica, 5:1 of humic acid and cal mag for all plants.
Outside I've 2 kwazulus and a lemon grape lying on their sides stealth mode experiencing cold weather, 50s night 69 - 72 day so im going to herd them inside, bugs n all and fit them somehow. it will work. plus I'm looking at the least a half pound haul out of 11 flowering plants and I'm one guy, an eighth lasts me a week to two weeks minimum its ok if three plants don't please the scale Gods.

how are we handling the holidays? hmmm peppermint infused tincture for morning coffee at ten times recommended dosage thank you. no judging ;
