Glimmer Grows More Autos - Blue Dream - Amnesia & Dark Devil In Coco With MH/LEDs

i believe dropping it in here is the best way to save grow related things :)

the reason i started my first journal ever in here was to not keep track of things real life, like having that calendar and marking watering and stuff.

now it's so much easier, i just go to my journal :laughtwo:

i love it, im never going back

Was pretty efficient, for me at least. Thanks!

Oh, good! I was so high I knew there might be a problem with it, but couldn't think of another way to do it :)

I love that about journals, too, brother. I like being able to go back (or visit someone else's journal) and get right to the info I need about a particular part of the grow.

Today my day is mostly about work, but I just wanted to pop in and share some photos of the awesome prize package Crop King Seeds gave me for being a runner up in the Christmas photo competition!

Here was my entry:

And today I received all these!

What an amazing assortment of prizes! I am stoked! There's the world's cutest mini grinder and a credit card grinder and two packs of rolling papers (one in a cool container with filters) and super cool marijuana-motif socks and matches and a magnet and a lighter and a medtainer -- it was seriously like Christmas (only better because it's weed-themed) and, best of all, the Zig-Zag papers made me laugh for 10 minutes.

Look at them:

Yes, it's our Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, immortalized for all time on a Zig Zag pack :) Best present ever :)

THANK YOU, CROP KING SEEDS!

Wow what a haul!!

Good for you you deserve it girl!!!

Happy for you!

Thanks, Pigeons! It's amazing getting a gift in the mail, isn't it, you awesome Member of the Month, you :)

I'm keeping my Early Miss bud in the CKS medtainer -- I had been using a rather beat up TightVac, but this is perfect and lets me always remember my first grow and those lovely plants and the company that led me to 420Magazine :)

Nothing new to say about the girls -- growing really well. The bud sites where I've been spraying with cs are withering and changing, but from reports I don't expect to see pistillate flowers for another 10 days at the very earliest.

Awsome prizes mi amiga. The papers are cool but the socks rock! Weed gifts are the best aren't they lol. if your wearing them socks while you smoke a bowl youll get extra high. :) :passitleft:.

I am going to try that tonight, I think -- weed socks / bong combo for the win!

I stopped by my local grow shop to buy a replacement downstem (man, they break easily, don't they?) and ended up walking out with 25 gallons of in-shop cooked organic soil :)

I wanted some for the catnip project (I feel comfortable growing cannabis at this point in coco but would rather use soil for the herbs -- I may regret that). I also want to try some small pots (because they're adorable and will give me the variety I crave, both in growing and smoking) and think that actual soil would be better than coco in tiny pots. And I've been longing to do an organic soil grow, without cooking my own soil.

Depending on how the space in the grow tent fills in as the flowering girls get bigger, I might pop my next lot of seeds about four weeks before my first estimated harvest. Should be fun! I've got a slew of seeds to try from Herbies and True North, plus I've got some auto seeds coming from the reconstituted Reeferman ...

Whoa. My husband just got in with the mail. Crop King Seeds, bless their hearts, have sent me two packs of auto seeds in addition to the prize pack! I am GOBSMACKED. Revolver and Candy Cane. Good lord, they're a generous company.

THANK YOU, CKS!

We've got a nearly three foot tall CKS Candy Cane in our first grow (and a droopy 16 inch purple runt, but let's not discuss her) both in 5 gallon plastic nursery pots, and a Revolver in a 1.5 gallon airpot that is 20 inches tall and was our first LST experiment. She put out two trifoliar branches with double tops that I personally think is just about awesome.

GG sorry I got behind some on your grow girl! Your a very popular lady and dang you have won some great this to talk about so I see why you've been showing us all your new goodies :) can't wait to see where this journal goes ! Especially with the seed production.

I just have 1 question as of now gg and it's curiosity driven. You are gonna be ok with all the mix breeding between the plants correct ? Surely since you've read all those seed journals cause I have read toker69 and Granny's but they did single strains at a time.

Lexort thanks for the reps man apreciated dude.happy growing every1;)

Hey no problem beast you deserved rep for those wonderful looking girls! Take it easy!

Yeah, I know :) I'm fine with whatever I get -- they will be autos and that's what I most care about. Here's my plan: I will cut off the male branch before pollination (if I can catch it) and move it to a separate area in a glass of water, as suggested by Jorge Cervantes. I will check the rest of the plants to try to catch any extra male parts and remove them. Then I will fertilize each girls separately, outside the tent -- let her sit with the pollen on her pistils for three hours, then wash her down to neutralize the pollen before she goes back in the tent. I will spray the tent between each removal/pollination and return.

Even if the male parts explode all over everything, I will still get some interesting auto seeds! Since I'm just growing for myself, I can take that risk :)

SIX WEEK UPDATE! (one week of colloidal silver spraying)

These are photos I took of the girls yesterday, on their 6 week anniversary above ground. I took each plant out of the tent, inspected her, did a small amount of cleaning up lower foliage and then returned her.

AMNESIA XXL

She's pretty messy!

Here's the tip I've been spraying with cs: this is after 7 days of treatment. Foliage is shrivelling and discolouring.

BLUE DREAM

A very nice, symmetrical plant:

And here's the small area I've been spraying with cs:

DARK DEVIL

I love this plant :)
IMG_656812.JPG

But I managed to burn her! She grew into the CFLs and now has a rather pretty burn mark. I'll make sure she's well away from the lights in future.

Another flowering top -- I love how her leaves are purpling!

NEPETA CATARIA

Time to repot some of these little seedlings, I think.

EVERYONE!
I moved everyone around so they're under different lights and get air from the fan differently. This is the best part of taking everyone out of the tent -- I really get to look at them closely and adjust their positions.

Have a green day!
