ha yeah i let my kids run wild. i want feral but educated children..my grow room is the cleanest walls, but even there you may notice the odd bit of old art work on the walls. its why i just leave them white.

but they are also very obedient if you can win their respect. if not, they definatly plot and plan in ways beyond the normal average.

my daughter is big for her age 96th persentile and top of her year in reading and maths. she plays the role of think tanks and muscle.
my middle son is extremly stealthy and agile. he can climb over a 3/4 height door (like a stable door but bigger) and avoid every single creak on the stairs of which there are many, walk into the lounge and hide behind the sofa, and this is while im in there on my computer and the missus is sat on the sofa

It's very refreshing to see you enjoying your family gig, I bet they are so funny, I try to find humor in everything I can. My kids are 26 and 22, They are living life and struggling, which is the norm for this reality. Kids need to be pretty damn tough in this world....more mentally. Back in the day, as we say here, it was the opposite, the only thing you can be sure of is that things are gonna change, the thing that most humans don't like. You remind me of the apostle paul, who reminded us to be content in all situations, bro, I can tell you have got alot on your plate and won't accept failure or second place. Drive on!

That's the best tantrum age!LOL! You watch 'em get all redfaced and completely out of their minds. Spittin' and trying to cuss, throwin stuff at the dogs! And you try soo hard not to let 'em see you laugh, but you can't help it, then they explode!

Kc45 #1 = 15 regular kc45 autos on 24-0 (the ones that were dropped off at deaths door by fungus gnats)
Kc45 #2 = 15 regular kc45 autos on 24-0 (the ones in 2l bottles (except 1 3l bottle for comparison) 2 weeks YOUNGER than #1 batch
FB=10 x Fastbud2 Fem autos on 24-0 (the star of grow 3 making a comeback tour)
BA= 3x Bella Afrodita Fem autos on 24-0 (looks like these beauties are going to steal the limelight of grow 4!)

Current thinkings

my nilnat treatment has been a partial success. the stuff works, no doubt about it. im seeing massive reduction in population. however, im having a problem with soil that has gone too dry, therefor, most of the treatment just washed away and didnt absorb. this left some safe zones for gnats. however those safezones were very dry and certainly not the most fun place to live for a gnat, lol.

my temps are too high and i need more light! i have raised all my plants onto a platfor to be closer to the light and am now using 2 fans to help keep them cool. when money permits i will get a 2nd bulb and ballast and 2x cooltubes for upto 1kw lights and get my filter and extractor at the same time...this is a big financial hit so may take a little while =(

my KC#1 seems to be recovering. i swear i see some green returning and even a little bit of growth. im going to defoliate these, but only 2 leaves at a time starting from the bottom, i dont want to shoc the poor plants any more than i need to, but i also feel the need to downsize the plants daily work regime by making them smaller factories, lol. they simply have too many leaves that are half dead its spending all its energy trying to fix.

Kc#2 are too stretched for my liking. i did defoliate once and i will start using my 'top leaves' defol method on them from now on to help, but im not sure what the plan is with these. the defol on kc#1 definatly made them half the height with the same amount of nodes.

Fb is doing its thing. they are doing better than grow 3 but not nearly as well as the bella afro plants.

Ba is just amazing so far, ive never seen a strain (im still quite limited tho) that is so eager to do what nature intended, which is to shed its shell and reach for the sky. these things are a winner im certain of it...depending on how they progress it may be my final strain for mass production.

ill skip the normal photo by photo rants and just let you enjoy the show so i can get on with work.

tonight work involves soaking KC#1 in a solution of soapy water to wett the soil (i been hearing roumers that plain old soap (imperial leather, LUX, Dove) is better than dish soap. i will use whatever the kids have for tonight (i bath in antibac dishsoap,lol)
but i intend to buy some dove ph neutral toxin free 1/4 moisurising soap, lol...only the best for my ladies =D

Lookin great man, our plants are pretty close to the same age for sure, lol, the few I gave my buddy are all about the same height as yours, as he hasn't been doing any LST and just letting them do their thing... your new seedlings are about the same age as my WW and Purp babies too, so yeaaah! haah thankfully self restraint isnt an issue for me, just the budget.

my current wish list is to replace my current reflector with a cooltube, add another 600w dual spec cooltube, buy 20 more fastbud2 and get my first carbon filter and extractor.

im trying to shoehorm as much of that as i can into my current allowance or im stuck for another month with what ive got.

wish these kc45s would hurry up and show gender, they are taking up twice as much space as needed, with males gone i can upgrade another 40 fastbud instead of 20.

im getting ambitious. im currently designing a grow cabinet. based around a 150w hps vertical rockwool drip hydro. with pumps and sensors e.t.c i dont see these as taking more than 200w. i reckon you can use that on a normal timer with no contactor.

i plan to use distilled water.

what monitoring equipment do i need that can be built into the box? and just how automated can it be made?

im thinking cooltube heat extraction and a semi sealed positive pressure grow atmosphere, bottles of co2 poring in in fairly low pressure and leaking passivly through a strip of cabon filter. trying to design them for small plants and stackable to or 3 high.

in an ideal world they would contain a 12v battery and a 220 AC inverter so that i can hook them up to solar but thats probably going to be a retro fit for when my op goes mobile
