GDB's Express Grow

Good morning GDB hope you are well my friend.
I admire your garden.
Beautiful happy ladies.
Nice work.

Stay safe
Bill
Good morning to you Bill and thanks for the kind words! :ciao:

All kidding aside, I love your style, GDB. That why I keep coming back!!
:thumb:
That's very nice of you to say, DutchinAB.

But all seriousness aside, please keep the kidding front and center! :laughtwo:

Looking delectable!
Otherwise I go with my patented GDBClips® to achieve pretty much the same result
I've been using a similar technique! I like the GDBClip idea better. With those plastic benders you have to manage the stem thickness or it will cut into it. Someone here had a situation where the stem began to grow around the clip. I think it was last year. That pretty much communicated directly to my subconscious that I'm too dumb to use those because I would without a doubt forget and have an entire plant with plastic pieces growing inside of it.

@HashGirl, here's a pic of the 90 degree clips on a plant. I hope you can see what's going on. If not, let me know and I'll try to take a better pic!

Thanks for stopping by.

Peace.

This is perfect, GDB. Thank you.

Hello growers.

I've got something to share that you might like, but not here, here.

Peace.

Hello all.

It's Flip + 15 for the Express Grow.

Yesterday evening at lights-on was feeding time. I upped their MC from 4.5 to 4.75 and also continued with the organic calmag (up from 2ml to 4ml). I had said a few days back that I was going to discontinue the calmag, but when I look at the plants I have to ask myself, "Why?"

The Goo (rear right) and the Black Dom (front right) are making little budlets but the Grape Ape has yet to join in. Instead she's trying to push the other two around in order to get more space for herself!

All in all, they seem to be a content trio.

Thanks for looking in.

Peace.

Good call GDB. You may not need the calmag but they look so good why change it up? Really nice job opening them up.

I wouldn't change a thing- except to boost the mc as needed- they're looking pretty close to perfect right now, whatever you're doing, they're loving it...

is that the same tent? it looks smaller today... :hmmmm:

Hello growers.

Just a quick update on the Express Grow on Flip + 16.

This morning when I opened the tent I was surprised to see the Grape Ape slumping from thirst, while the other two plants were praying. They were just fed 2 days ago. Either I under-fed the GA at that time or she's just decided to started drinking a lot more a lot quicker!

Anyway, I had planned a water-only feed for the trio this evening at lights-on (9pm). But the GA looked so sad I gave her 2L of water + 4ml Sensi calmag (4-0-0). She'll get more this evening, until run-off, when I water the others.

In other news, I took two cuttings from the Black Domina on Mar. 29th and stuck them into the GDBCloner®.

This morning they had a few roots poking out. (Apologies for the out-of-focus pic.)

Back into the cloner they went.

That's it for now.

Thanks for your interest!

Peace.

Great job GDB! Those flower girls look absolutely perfect :bravo:

Nice work on the cloning! If that’s not a perfect endorsement for the GDB cloner sales I don’t know what is!

Hello growers.

It's Flip + 17 for the Express Grow.

After seeing the thirsty and sullen Grape Ape yesterday morning, today's first view provided a rush of good feelings. Everyone looked so happy!

She got about 2 more liters of water last night + 4ml of Sensi calmag(4-0-0). The other two got the same but were watered to run off (about a gallon each).

Grape Ape is still on the left, but now the Black Domina is right rear and the Goo is front right.

And, as you may have noticed, the Grape Ape has decided to join in the pistil party!

Thanks for looking in.

And thanks for the feedback:
They are beautiful. :thumb:
Thank you so much Stinker! :Rasta:

Thanks Budman. If it ain't broke...

Thanks MrC!

What would "perfect" look like? :laughtwo:

Thanks N!

The GDBCloner® truly is a nearly set it and forget it cloner. I just stick cutting in there (pucked) and sit the cloner on a sunny windowsill. About every 5 days I squirt some water on the walls of the cloner and a little water beneath the pucks. Then I just wait!

PEACE.

Hello all.

It's Flip + 18 for the Express Grow.

It seems that I've been a little slow on the uptake regarding what I've been seeing with the Grape Ape. This morning was the second time this week that I've opened the tent in the morning to see her sagging and thirsty, while the other two plants look happy. The GA is rear right in the pic.
Express Tent 4-14-22 F18 droopy GA.jpg

She was given 2 liters of water on Tuesday morning because she was in the same state. And then she got 2 more liters of water that same evening. The other two plants got about a gallon of water each on Tuesday evening.

This morning (2 days later) the other two plants look content and the GA looks like she's being droughted.

So it's taken me a bit, but I've finally grasped that the GA wants/needs to be watered every day! The Goo (left rear) and the Black Domina (front) are satisfied with every other day, but not her!

I fed her this morning with 4.75g of MC + 5ml of organic calmag (0-0-0). She easily took about 1.4 gallons before any run off. She's a thirsty girl! I took her off of her plant stand and just left her flat in her saucer, knowing that she would suck up the run off water. Her situation was likely worsened by the fact that it got very hot in the grow room yesterday. We had a temperature spike with a high of 84F yesterday. I eventually turned the AC on in the room, but not before things had already gotten pretty toasty.

The other two plants will be fed this evening at lights-on (9pm).

It doesn't take her long to start perking up after being fed, but this is not the way I intended to treat her. I'll feed/water her everyday from here on.

In another matter, the 2 cuttings from the Black Domina were taken from the GDBCloner® yesterday and put into solo cups.

The cloner at work: (no batteries required).

The 2 cuts remaining in the cloner are from another grow I have going.

That's all I've got this morning.

As always, thanks for looking in.

Peace.

Nice as always GDB.... But that's nuts that the G.A went from being ok with bi-daily to just everyday in just a short time....means she's growing big and healthy good job.
