GDB's Express Grow

Hello growers.

It's Flip + 22 for the Express Grow.

Just a quick tent pic of the girls tonight. It's nearly midnight and I'm just getting to feeding them. They usually get fed right at lights-on, at 9pm. (I was busy making some jerk chicken salad until around 11:30 tonight and did not want to interrupt my culinary adventure to water them.)

Anyway, all the plants were reflecting my tardiness. It seems that they've really gotten used to what had been a fairly consistent feeding hour. Plants are aware!

I'm sure they'll get over it! :laughtwo:

I upped their feed from 4.75g to 5g of MC tonight.

BTW, Mrs. GDB loved her taste of the jerk chicken salad, as did I. It'll taste even better after sitting in the fridge overnight!

That is all.

Thanks for looking in.

Peace.

Hello growers.

As it's late-night 4/20, I'm imagining many of you sitting around bleary-eyed or already retired for the night.

But for those who are still up and can see clearly, here's and update on the Express Grow on Flip + 24. :)

Tonight was their "water only" night and all got about 1.6 gallons of water + 6ml Sensi Calmag (4-0-0) + 8ml SNS 209. I took them out of the tent to water them so took the opportunity to snap some solo pics.

Black Domina
She's an interesting one in that she doesn't look like a 95% indica dominant plant. But I'm not complaining, just enjoying watching. She stayed fairly low, which was my goal, and stands 19 inches from soil to tip.

Pinkman Goo
She's been the most docile of the plants, never really providing any surprises or "wow" moments. But, again, I'm not complaining! Standing 17 inches, she's also cooperated height-wise.

Grape Ape
She has the thickest stems of them all and has been rather "ape-like." My desire was to keep these plants under 3 ft. tall (by training and early flipping). The Ape cooperated, but pushed the limit at 33 inches tall. No complaint!

And a tent shot for good measure!

Hey GDB, they might have been getting thirsty waiting for you in the kitchen but they're blooming all the same!
They know I'll get there eventually, Stunger! :)

Happy happy plants GDB! Shiny green leaves like that I can only get when I spray with neem. :)
Thank you Shed. The "shiny" filter on my camera must be working! :Rasta:

I just noticed those eyelets on the rim of the cloth grow bags, that makes it great for securing training to.
Yup. They do come in handy, Stunger! :Rasta:

Your plants look great, GDB! I'm glad they're staying smaller for you. I'm having some issues with bigger plants, too and like you, I want to flip them to flower earlier.

One of the good things about not being able to start my summer grow completely yet is that I can hopefully get started on a perpetual grow. I'm thinking 2 months in veg, 3 in flower but I'll see how it goes.

They got it going on !

I missed a week or so and that Grape Ape exploded. Wow, she really put her stretch on! They all look great GDB.

Oiii Black!

How do you keep the structure of your plants smaller?

Mine are becoming gigantic, and while that would suit many, it doesn’t suit me. I ideally would like them no taller than 60cm which I am 94% sure is 2 foot.

@Carcass is about to show you just how to do it! Or perhaps I should say, how to try and do it. I'm finding that it has a lot do you with the strain.

These three I'm growing all had breeder estimates of a max height of about 4 feet when grow indoors. I flipped them all on day 50 and then watched as the Grape Ape stretched to about twice the height of the other two. Go figure! :Rasta:
