GDB: A Sponsored Grow

Thanks GDB, the pollen is coming out now so i'll be scrambling every day for the next week to get as many pistils knocked up as i can in the tent. After that we'll be back to coasting into the finish. I'm not sure what im going to do about trimming all 6 plants though

is that very dark green on the GF-CB something youve noticed with many GF plants? my LA Cheese is looking that same shade of green
This is only my second GF grow and I didn't notice it with the first (not to say that it wasn't there, I just didn't notice).

With this one though, yes. It has been a darker green than the MC plants consistently. At one point she lightened up a bit but she seems to have returned to the darker green now.

Trimming is a jacked up way to end a grow.
That I know.

maybe I’ll get lucky and every plant will be so seeded I can just dry em whole and pick through em and dump all the flower into the edible bucket.. save the best few nugs off each plant

Hey GDB :ciao:
Just stopping by to say that this tent is looking spectacular. Will be nice watching it fill up as flower commences and bud sites appear.
Great job sir!

Hello growers.

It's day 64 + 2 for the group and I swear, to this untrained eye it looks like they're stretching up already. I wish I had measured the height of the tallest one before I flipped them.

Peace.

Do you have a pic maybe you can figure height from it?
Looks great, nice and healthy.

Damn, they're looking good, GDB!
If you want to gauge their growth, just take one of your long bamboo stakes and stick it in the soil on
any of the plants...toward the center of the tent would be best- then just put a piece of tape on the stake
even with the top of the tallest plant.
Then, the next morning, you can tell at a glance how much they've grown.
1 stake toward the center will give you a general idea, or a stake in each pot will more accurately tell you how much each individual plant has grown.
You're probably going to need to stake something up eventually, so this just gets the first stake in there early... ;)

Great idea, C! Thanks! :Rasta:

The stakes are at stake by the looks of it, that's a lot of stakes.
Why am I suddenly really hungry?
I'm with you, glad I cooked steaks stakes for supper.

Tomorrow, maybe we'll do something with potatoes... :cheesygrinsmiley:

If anyone tried to serve me a bbq'd potato I'd want some of what they'd be smoking!

You need to come and visit then my friend!
Wrap anything in tinfoil and cook it on the BBQ. The best is diced up small, lots of butter, yellow or white sliced onions, a little lemon juice and salt and pepper to taste. Wrap in tinfoil and cook til brown on bottom. .mmm

Around here we call those grilled potatoes (or grilled hot dogs, or grilled hamburgers - whatever we cook on a grill is called "grilled.") BBQ is a term only used for stuff with bbq sauce on it. :Rasta:

Hello growers.

Just a quick update on the group today.

It'd day 64+4 for the group and all seems well.

The MegaCrop fed ladies seem happy sitting at 5g per gallon of MC. According to the reading on my CarcassStick (I won't use the other "s" word for fear of loosing another stream of meat-eater references.), the tallest has stretched up about 2 inches since yesterday and the rest have followed along.

The GeoFlora fed C Banana looks particularly happy this morning. I'm sticking with the 12 day interval between top-feeds, so she'll get her next one on Sunday. Yesterday, however, I fed her I liter of plain water and 1 liter of "Big Foot" mycorrhizae. She apparently likes it!

Here's the group:
GDB - back left / CB back right / GOG front left and GF_CB front right.

I'm really trying to stay on top of this grow because the sticks are so high! :laughtwo:

Peace.
